There are a few aspects that make this restaurant worth the visit. Firstly it has an easy to find location on Illawarra Rd, the staff here are lovely and I am a follower of their restaurant facebook page which always contains a little humor. The service is quick and i have never been left over-waiting for a meal. The food is appealing, cooked to perfection and isnt oily, overcooked or of poor quality like some similar places. I like the pho and usually go for the wagyu, although there is a lot more on the menu ofcourse.
Another little thing I like is that 'yen' means 'wish' ior 'hope' in Chinese (or so they have told me), which is fitting.

Love Marrickville for Vietnamese food and yesterday we discovered another great place. I love the red/maroon colour of the place and the environment. We had rice paper rolls and their famed crispy pancake and they were great. For main we had chicken pho and garlic and chilli chicken and we loved the flavour. Nice staffs as well.

Fantastic food, recommend clay pot fish, crispy pancake and prawn and eggplant fritters. Service was great, just the right spacing between dishes. Nice style of a restaurant, and its byo as well as licensed. Great value for the quality, approx $25-$30 per person not inc wine.Only problem is the room is vey very noisy

This restaurant is modern and trendy, which makes it stand out from other Vietnamese restaurants on Illawarra Rd, so I gave it a go. I thought it was a fantastic restaurant, offering Vietnamese food of a high standard. I had crispy pancake and eggplant stir fry which was delicious. Highly recommended, way above other nearby restaurants.
