12 weeks ago the wife and I ordered a $5,000 couch from Amart Furniture Melrose Park, SA. I paid the $1,000 deposit a few days later, received the deposit receipt from the Store and thought everything was in hand, oh was I wrong.

Last week I contacted the store to try and get an update, the ETA was 12-13 weeks so I was hopeful the couch would be here soon. On reply the Store manager Informed me that I had missed the cut off for the quote and as a result they thought the order was no longer required.

So for the last 12 weeks Amart have kept my $1,000 deposit and not only did they not order the couch, they said absolutely nothing to me. No phone calls, no emails, no text messages, nothing. I do wounder if I hadn't contacted them how long they would of kept my money without saying anything. Their processes for tracking payments is so poor that they didn't even notice a $1,000 deposit for an order that had expired in their system .

I am beyond dissapointed. I have received the refund and now I'll start the shopping process all over again. I can assure you I will never be stepping into an Amart Furniture or any other business associated with them ever again

Easily the worst after sales service, and the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen.

Do not for any reason utilise Adelaide fence centre.
