This business supplied and installed a Stratco Outback veranda for me. The owner was very helpful during the quoting process and came up with a very clever design. Installation was done in a single day and the site was left clean. The owner responded very quickly to a minor warranty issue.

Purchased two solatube skylights which let an amazing amount of daylight into the rooms without being too conspicuous on the ceiling. The salesman was very knowledgeable and the installation can't be faulted. One of the best home improvements I have ever purchased.

Purchased a whole house full of interior roller blinds from Vista. The sales lady was very knowledgeable and very helpful with colour selection. The installation can't be faulted and there have been no problems with the quality of the blinds.

Purchased a Crimsafe security door and two exterior awnings. The door frame was not correctly measured by the salesman so the gaps between the custom made security door and the door frame were too wide which compromised the integrity of the door. Fair Price refused to remake the door so they packed out the door frame which is less than ideal.
Less than two years after the installation of the exterior awnings the fabric has torn and Fair Price expect me to pay for the labour to remove and replace the awnings.

I obtained three quotes and went with Packers mistakenly believing that the highest price was indicative of a better quality product. The first problem arose when the installer arrived and discovered that the salesman hadn't measured correctly and that the ceiling was not level. He partially installed the robes and left. A few days later a different installer arrived to complete the job. When the doors slide they contact screw heads and make a scraping noise. I have called Packers twice to fix the issue but they have never returned to do the work.

I first shopped at Mad Murray's some 10 years ago when it was located at Clovelly Park SA. Back then it was a vibrant business and weekends were always super busy with customers. The plants were very good quality and good value, and the staff were very knowledgeable.
Since then it has been hard to keep track of the business because it relocated to no less than four temporary locations.
My recent visit to the location at Seaford Meadows was very disappointing. The place looked really run down and the general quality of the plants was terrible with weeds in almost every pot. The young man who was serving was friendly but had limited horticultural knowledge.
I left without any plants but I did purchase a half wine barrel.
It's a shame to see such a decline in a once thriving business.
