My daughter and I decided to have regular manicures and nail treatments so have been trying to find the beauty salon for us. Little Miss Gorgeous was our third experience as the previous 2 we found unsatisfactory. Well ,we need to look no further. This salon has a luxurious feel about it from the time you walk in the door. The staff made us feel very welcome and were friendly. Our appointment was for12 midday, we arrived just before our appointment time and were attended to straight away. The salon is very clean and well maintained. My daughter and I were very happy with our nails and have both agreed that LMG is the salon for us. Price is probably the same as you would pay at most places.
Bar Petite is a small bar with a nice cosy atmosphere. You can either sit at a table or in the lounge area which is furnished with old fashioned lounges. There was 7 of us in our party and we chose antipasta type food from the menu. We had the sourdough, marinated olives, chorizo, spiced chat potatoes etc. They have a variety of "share plates". The food was lovely and fresh. All up we ordered 8 plates. Service was prompt and attentive. We were celebrating and we provided our own cake which they were happy to serve at no extra cost to us. Wonderful variety of local Hunter Valley wines.

Have been using this hairdresser for 5 to 6 years. Very friendly salon who keep up to date with all of the current trends. The stylists have won awards and their trophys are on display in the salon. The owner of the business, Julie, rewards loyalty by somehow always managing to fit me in at the last minute. Parking is easy and closeby. I would be happy to have any one of the stylists cut my hair.

Went to Maggie G's for breakfast with my adult children. We ordered Terry's Eggs Benedict. Could not see any food on the plate because it was swimming in the worst Hollandaise sauce, absolutely tasteless and an absolutely ludicrous amount of sauce. Also ordered Hearty Farmers Breakfast. This was sausage (1), 2 tomato halves, potatoe rosti, mushrooms with gravy and 2 pieces of shortcut bacon. The gravy in this meal was watery and tasteless and once again the meal was floating in it. Potato rostis were also tasteless and I think probably frozen. Also ordered an omlette which was not fluffy at all, more like fried egg. Service was attentive. The cafe itself was very clean and also had outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside because people were smoking at the tables outside.

Enjoyed lunch there with my daughter. We decided to have the antipasto platter for 2 people. At $17.50 it was excellant value for money. Fantastic variety of meats, cheese and chutneys/dips served with toasted sourdough. We sat back and enjoyed this in the comfort of their club chairs with a nice glass of chilled wine. Great atmosphere, terrific service.
We have been buying birthday and special occasion cakes from here for a few years now. If you want something extra special then this is the shop for you. Extensive choice of cakes,ranging from mud cakes to gateaux to tarts, flans and cheesecakes. I cannot stress enough how very special these cakes are. Well worth the money.
We chose to order from there takeaway menu, (although you can eat in their restaurant. The food was ready when they said it would be. Authentic Indian food with the option of having mild or hot curries. Friendly service with a smile. Very clean premises.
