Spoke to MLB and was given a quote for a 1.5 hour job $230 (no mention of GST ) with all the extra such as blankets and insurance.
Two back packers in a budget truck turned up, 1.5 hours late and stated that the job would take 2 hours. They wasted time slowly moving items (small items) and midway through the move stated they had to repack the truck because they missed an item that needed to be packed first (I had advised them of all the times they needed to move and an email was sent at the beginning of the booking to advise what needed to be moved) . My brother and I moved half our stuff down to hurry the process and they continued to take their time. 2 hours and 40 mins later they demanded $418 for a 3 hour job and held our items hostage until we paid them.
They have yet to respond to my email.
WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
