If you love a bargain, then this shop is for you. CD's from a variety of artists and ranging from current chart toppers to classics, this shop sells cds for a fraction of the normal cost. They buy in bulk and are all quality products. The downside is that they may not always have what you are after, but they do have a website where you can check for updates.

This butcher/delicatessan has everything you can imagine and much more. Suppliers of many of the reputable restaurants in the area, Papandrea's is the place to get good quality smallgoods for everyday use or that special occassion. I have never had a bad buying experience here and for all their range, their simple thick sausages are some of the best.

Gato's Pastizzi's are an institution. This is the shop where it all happens. They sell their famous pastizzis in frozen form (along with plenty of other food or party supplies) and also hot and ready to be eaten (a bit like a pie shop). Although there is a variety of flavours to choose from, I think the simple ricotta and spinach takes some beating.
Approximate cost: $4-5 per dozen
This is a great day out for the family or alternately for mum and the kids. If your kid loves animals, there is enough here to keep them busy for ages. Between the various shows, the play gym and the animals, you won't have to worry about amusing them for once. Children under 3 are free, so be sure to make the most of it.
Approximate cost: $16 per adult
This is a small Italian restaurant which makes for a pleasant evening out. Their menu is quite extensive and you have to pick and choose what is good. I highly recommend the smoked salmon entree and any of the veal dishes.
Approximate cost: $15-30
This cake shop sell a variety of cakes, however, I decided to get them to make my wedding cake. I had a simple sponge cake in the shape of a cylinder and had it frosted with white frosting. It was delicious and with a bouquet of fresh flowers on top, ended up costing me a total of $80. What a bargain.
Approximate cost: $60 & up
This business is basically a one woman show and this is a good thing! Lee knows how to pamper her clients completely and no matter what you choose to have done, you will leave this business feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to take on the world again. I highly recommend massage of any description. Lee's technique is quite unique.

Maurizios is a nice Italian restaurant that you would feel comfortable taking friends or relatives to. It has quite a diverse menu which caters for all tastes and it offers some really tasty desserts.
Approximate cost: $20-40
This restaurant has dine-in though I have only ever had home-delivery. Their pizza is generally very tasty (although it must depend who is operating the pizza oven). We have never had a bad pizza from here, but sometimes it is really fantastic, always hot, usually arrives in less time than quoted.
Approximate cost: $20-30
This restaurant has great food at a really affordable price. The decor is also ok, however it is much more of a dinner for two kind of place. I say this as the service here ranges from not fantastic to abysmal. I would be embarassed to take friends here and receive such a poor reception. It is a shame though, as everything else is spot on.
Approximate cost: $10-20
