I travel regularly so go there often. Staff are always friendly and helpful, you can get a Hudson's card which means you accrue points every time you spend and earn enough for a free coffee every 10-15 dollars, better than those loyalty stamp cards. Coffee is really good too.

The therapists at this salon are the best trained I have come across in Canberra. The products they use are top quality, Thalgo and other products being introduced all the time. I would recommend the light facial which is unusual, a special light on an arc around your face moving back and forth, this produces very good results. Hot stone massage also a standout. I have been a client for many years and always very happy with the results. Prices are a little high but they have excellent special offers on treatment vouchers, 2 for 1 etc that make it all affordable. Highly recommended. Cost shown is for waxing.

This is not your average Chinese restaurant. The prices are a little higher but the quality of the food is superlative. I had the best beef in pepper sauce that I've had in a Chinese restaurant in a long time. The decor is very elegant and polished, nice white linen tablecloths and tasteful silk dark red table runners. Would be perfect to impress a dinner date.

This hairdressing salon has a really funky vibe with polished floors and bright orange and brown '60s' style walpaper. They have top grade colourists and cutters and their prices compare favourably with other salons in Canberra. Highly recommended.
Cost includes colour, cut and blowdry.

My car key broke in the ignition. I booked the car in and was quoted $180 to pull the ignition apart and remove the broken piece still in it. I was very pleasantly surprised when they told me total cost was $70 (had taken less time than expected) and cost of getting new key was only $7.50. Highly recommended.

This is a new bar on the site of the old Pangea restaurant. The atmostphere is very mellow and pleasant with polished wooden floors, nice music and eclectic furniture. The surprise is the bar food, simple but very good and very reasonably priced for Manuka. The rabbit pie is excellent and the burger is outstanding, all at 'pub prices'. Highly recommended.

I go here regularly as my 17 year old likes it. The service is amazingly good, the waiter remembered what we had ordered on our last visit a couple of months before and asked if we wanted the same thing. The tandoori chicken pizza is excellent and there are a number of vegetarian pizza options for my son, which he reckons are all excellent.

This cafe has a nice atmosphere and the vegetarian foccacia is very good, as are the specials of the day on the board. Service can be slow if you are sitting outside, I always order my coffee before going outside to sit down. I once ordered the tandoori chicken pizza and was very disappointed. Mixed feelings about this one...

I have been to this cafe a few times now, there is always a long queue at lunchtime but it's definitely worth the wait. Last time I had a small salmon quiche and a coffee. The quiche was amazing! Highly recommended

What makes this store truly special is not only the colourful alternative Indian style clothing and chunky rustic jewellery, it's the special people who work there and who are genuinely down to earth, friendly and always helpful. They also have a wide range of incense, embroidered throw cushions, and little knick knacks that are always fun to fossick through. On top of that, they have a loyalty program where if you spend over a certain amount (I think it's $200) over a year or two, from then on you get 15% off everything else you buy there. They also have a store at the Canberra Centre shopping centre. I ask for gift vouchers for birthdays and Christmas presents as I always find something a little different there for a very reasonable price.
