At the final fitting 3 days before the wedding, pins were still in the hems. Walking was difficult as the dress was too long. Tripping was inevitable!
D began cutting the inner silk and tuille hems to try and shorten the dress whilst the dress was on. This continued for over an hour. It was 10pm Wednesday evening. The wedding was the following Saturday. I asked to have the hems tidied up (as the were jagged) and then sewn (hemmed). D designs, but does not sew. No possibility of further alterations as the sewing person was not available until the following week (after the wedding)

I found D to be a very lovely person who did not produce the wedding dress as was agreed upon. The offer of fixing the dress AFTER the wedding was pathetic. Insisting on full payment of over $3500 with no reduction was unusual and really disappointing.

I have thought very carefully about this rating. In contrast to the above comments we have given the celebrant, wedding planner, marquee people, caterers, waiters and drinks staff, florist, wedding car hire company and driver, and the gardener excellent reviews.
