We have been buying our eggs from Cornucopia at the Frenchs' Forest organic markets for ages now - they are fantastic quality eggs - great for poaching (they have to be really fresh or the white bleeds into the water). His biodynamic meats are also delicious and he often throws in a little something for free.

The chemist on duty has tried to track down a rare supplement for me from overseas, emailing distributors and such and keeping me up to date with her progress. She's really gone out of her way to be helpful.

All the staff at Harbord Veterinary Hospital are very caring, friendly and professional (and they have liver treats for every patient as soon as they walk in - how can you beat that?!). Their prices are VERY reasonable (compared to other vets in the area) and the service is great - the vet we saw was very gentle, super efficient and gave very sensible advice. The clinic has such a warm, friendly, community atmosphere - not cold and sterile and full of marketing like some vets.

I attended Leonie's clinic to try and get rid of severe neck pain that had been caused by 4 months of treatment with a (particular) chiropractor. After my first treatment I felt much better and am continuing to resolve the issue. Leonie is a very caring, compassionate health professional and I look forward to remaining in her care for many years to come.

Just when we had given up hope of getting fed tonight we stumbled across Ben Bry's Burgers and had a fantastic burger for a very reasonable price. Lots of homemade sauces to have with your meal including Wasabi Mayo, Aioli, Herb Aioli and lots more. Absolutely fantastic food for a great price. Burgers were $7 - $13. Fish and chips (Barramundi) was $11.50.

I often come here for lunch at work as they are close to my office. They make pizza and salads to order with a very wide range of ingredients. It is great to be able to have a healthy and tasty option available to you. They also make reasonable coffee and have a 5+1 coffee loyalty card.

We have had both of our cars repaired here now and both times have been amazed at the exceptional level of service and the attention to detail given to both jobs. My car was only a small job, so I did not put it through insurance and the price was very generously discounted.

This is the most amazing experience ... having so many beautiful butterflies flying around you in an enclosed space is just beautiful. The hosts are very knowledgeable and helpful and all up it was a beautiful and educational experience. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The vets here, especially Michael, are very caring, considerate and dedicated people. They have looked after our animals for over 10 years now and have always taken great care of us and our pets.

Tried to catch a bus into the city last night (Friday). The timetable on their website said there was a 6.10pm service. When we got to the stop at 6:05 a schoolgirl waiting there said that there hadn't been any buses in the 30 minutes she had been waiting. We waited til 6:30 then asked a driver going the other way when the next bus might be ... he said there wouldn't be ANY more buses going in from that stop tonight but he could drop us at Forest Way where we waited until the 7:10 bus came through at 7:20. Just one example. but these buses are almost always late if they even show up at all and the some of the staff are exceptionally rude.
