It had been a while since I had sat down and enjoyed a coffee here, but recently I was doing some shopping in Spotlight next door and the weather really set in, I decided I didn't wish to get wet and sat down for a coffee but after perusing the menu I decided a nice sausage roll would also warm me up. Service was swift, coffee and sausage roll were delicious, staff friendly.

This has become my favourite cafe in Mount Barker, I have been meeting up with friends here quite often now as they do their coffee and sweet treats so well. Such a pleasant atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food, fabulous coffee and reasonable prices.

This is a very inviting comfortable cafe with such a friendly atmosphere, their menu is varied and well priced, have enjoyed many meals here and our coffee was fabulous, nice and hot, really hit the spot. We need to come here more often, had forgotten how good it is.

My husband and i stopped in for a coffee after having a nice long walk along the beach, needed something hot to warm us up. After 15 minutes we had to ask for our coffee again, it soon arrived thereafter but was disappointingly on the cool side, could not be bothered asking for another, basically left without our coffee which we were looking forward to.

Once again sensational flavoursome meals, just outstanding, didn't think they could be better than our previous visit. The fried cauliflower and lamb kofta were to die for. The staff were wonderful, not overbearing they just seemed to know where we required them. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were having a pleasant walk around Normanville and stopped here for a coffee and possibly something to eat. Very pricey and not particularly friendly, basically we had our coffee and didn't bother ordering anything to eat, we went across the road to the bakery and enjoyed their pastries.

This is a large supermarket for such a little town, very clean and tidy, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, the staff were friendly and helpful. We just needed some tomato sauce for our fish and chips and couldn't find it quickly, a staff member was very happy to assist. Many express checkouts were open and we were in and out in reasonable time.

We were craving some fish and chips to take back to our room and could not find a shop open for lunch in Normanville so we decided to take the short drive to Yankalilla and was happy to find this fabulous, friendly take away.

It was quite busy with only one gentleman serving so we were expecting a long wait, so after placing our order we went for a short walk to the bakery and then came back and took a seat. Within minutes of sitting down he walked over with our order. He was very generous with our chips, the garfish was a decent size and our potato cakes were delicious, he even through in a couple of extra ones. I love my chips a little crispy and these were perfect, everything tasted very fresh, no oily residue, perfectly salted. Infact, the perfect lunch we were looking for.

He has a huge menu with very decent prices, we will be trying one of his awesome looking burgers next time. Very fast friendly service. Thank you.
Highly recommend.......

Approximate cost: $21

MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm now this is what I call a bakery. My husband and I were staying in Normanville last weekend and was after some fish and chips so after placing our order we walked a short distance to this delicious bakery. I was after a dessert to take back to our apartment, so much choice but I could not resist the most scrumptious delicious looking Cream filled chocolate berlina, it was huge and mouthwatering, just what I wanted. We returned the following day for a pie and pastie and then on our return home we purchased some more berlinas for our family.

Great location, fabulous hot soothing coffee on a cold day, delicious meal options and very friendly staff. Service can be a little slow on busy mornings but breakfast is worth the wait.
