Enzo's is one of my favourite places in Hervey Bay to have lunch. The have delicious refreshing meals, friendly staff, and the cafe is right on the beach - no roads to cross so you are looking out over the water while you enjoy lunch and good company. They also hire our kayaks and stand-up-paddleboards etc for very good prices. Most of the restaurant is outdoors also so you are able to stop by for lunch even if you have been walking your dog etc.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm lollies! They have the most amazing selection of lolloes and other things although I mostly concentrate on the chocolates! Loose serve-yourself style, and an excellent way to bribe a child that needs to go to the doctor or get a blood test (both in the same complex. "I'll take you to Nana's pantry afterwards" works every time. All that sugar's probably not great as a regular thing but good for a rare treat.

The best pies/pasties/sausage rolls/spinach & cheese triangles (my favourite)/ and sweet bakery style sweets and friendliest staff I have ever experienced anywhere in Australia. Extremely impressed with the food, the staff, everything.

We went to Australia Zoo 2 days ago. It was a wonderful experience that we all (including several teenagers) really enjoyed. We arrived at around 10am and didn't leave until almost 5pm. It was school holidays but the place is so huge there is plenty of room and you didn't feel crowded by people. Feeding the elephants (free) was amazing, th croc show was awesome (and I've actually seen heaps of other croc shows so I expected it to be a bit boring for me but it wasn't). The Irwin family are really doing an excellent job of carrying on Steve's legacy. The tiger show - oh my goodness it was awe inspiring and you can see them swimming through a clear tank - just beautiful. Africa was wonderful with their giraffes, zebras, rhinos, I had never seen any of these in real life before so it was just wonderful. The only downfall was the price of the food which was extremely expensive. Overall it was a wonderful experience I will never forget.

We went to Underwater World yesterday - the new section is now open. It was really wonderful, although a little bit more expensive than I expected. We went with people who had been before and they said the guy currently training the seals & otters and doing the shows was not there when they came last and he is much more informative and entertaining than the shows they had seen previously. The starfish touch tank is also great. We loved the underwater tunnels and the turtle habitat most but there was also heaps more to see. We spent nearly 5 hours there and had a really great time.

Delicious food, we all really enjoyed our variety of Tapas and love the atmosphere. Our Tapas came out intermittently so we had time to eat one each before the next ones came out nice and hot so nothing went cold which was great. Can get a bit expensive if you have hungry teenagers.

Great place for dinner, we took our teenage kids and they enjoyed the meals as well. They also have a huge big-screen tv out the front which is great during footy games etc. traffic can bet a bit noisy as it is on the main drag but all-in-all it was nice.

Delicious seafood from the best place in Hervey Bay. Great variety, and a good place to buy in bulk eg. a 5kg box of prawns for Christmas etc. Great prices, great seafood, great service, what more can you ask?

This review is for The Boat Club, Urangan QLD

We always enjoy going to the Boat Club. Great service from friendly staff and really delicious meals that arrive in good time considering how busy they get. Most Friday Saturday & Sunday evenings they have live entertainment and it's lovely to see 90 year olds & 2 year olds and all ages in between on the dance floor. You can book if you have more than 10 people but under that you just have to take your chances, wait in line, or arrive early to get a table. But it is worth the wait.

This review is for Golden Chicken, Scarness QLD

Great service from very friendly staff but the chicken we had tasted really greasy and felt heavy in our bellies. Since the first visit, we haven't really felt the urge to go back.
