Mixed feelings with this place. The positives - Appears to be authentic Japanese, great vibe with up beat jazz music, some hidden treasures in the menu, fresh quality sashimi, very friendly chefs and great customer service. The negatives - Some of the simple dishes were just not comparable. Authentic Japanese dishes has a certain degree of delicacy to their dishes but this place does it rather rough and no doubt overpowering in flavour. Fancy spray soy sauce is used for sushi but frankly, I am not a big fan. Overall verdict - I'd say it is a good quality restaurant on the pricey end. I would go back but will carefully select what I order. Recommended dishes - Yaki Ika, Beef Tataki, Sashimi.

You can tell they put thoughts into their menu when every dish are made wonderfully with careful balance in tastes and texture. Fresh and good quality produce used. Offers bottled ice latte and cold drip espresso which you can take home (mind you, my bottle leaked during transportation so please be careful). I go there for breakfast everyday when I travel for work and have never been disappointed.
P.S. If you are a meat lover, avoid Monday. They are currently doing no meat Monday.
