We use maxima for our traineeships at work. They are excellent, easy to work with and are very knowledgable. If you are looking for a trainee, they do everything from screening to pre-interviews and only send you people they know will fit in with your office environment.
Best range in Adelaide for chaircovers, sashes etc. I was so excited when i picked out my linen for my wedding - they had such excellent advice and i was thrilled with my choices! If you are getting married, it is well worth a look just to see their table settings.
Great place to get your nails and waxing done - the girls are all professional and really nice. I'm getting my whole bridal party's nails done here shortly and they were really great about it all. Good prices too. Follow up - we had all our nails done for the wedding and they were brilliant! Champagne & cheese & nibbles on Friday nights - just brilliant! We had so much fun!
My partner normally gets his hair cut here, and i have used them in the past. Friendly staff, good cuts and a great atmosphere. Not too expensive either.
The Basin are great haircutters - i'm very picky and their hairdressers are all up with the latest styles as well, good snacks and coffee and close to the CBD. One of their staff is doing my wedding hair - and my trial hair looked great. She also did a friend at works daughters hair for her formal and it looked lovely.
Mortar & Pestle is a great spot for brekkie and lunch - we work around the corner and always ring and order the chicken baguette - yummy! They have a great menu and you can look at it on their website. Nice outside area as well.
GG's is a great cafe that has lovely coffee and serves really nice sandwiches - you can sit outside on a nice day and just watch the world go by in leafy Dulwich. Great steak sandwiches.
One of the best chemists around - stock chanel, clinique, clarins etc and also crabtree and evelyn products. They have everything you could possibly need - gifts are great - and all the staff are really friendly. You can get stuck for hours in there!
This has to be one of the best places in the eastern suburbs of adelaide to get lunch from. They have a fantastic sandwich bar as well as hot food available - quiches, tuna mornay, meatballs etc. Very good value for money - my favourite are the pre-made wraps - the sweet chilli chicken is the best! My office always does lunch runs to Jennys - you can park at the rear, and their cakes are great for bdays. Valentine's day saw them do an amazing little mud cake with pink icing and a chocie love heart with organza ribbion for $15! Perfect for our dinner that night. I could go on and on...... this place is one of the best! Lovely outdoor alfresco eating area to the side as well. A++++++
Emma is a wonderful cake designer - she makes cakes that are so "couture" like you see in all the magazines, she is not expensive and is so friendly - she dropped off samples (that were not small either!) at my work for my partner and i to try. She will be making all my cakes in the future - i can't wait to have kids so she can do their birthday cakes!
