This store does well to hold up the good name of baker's delight. There is always plenty to choose from and all products are always fresh and tasty. The staff there are really nice which makes shopping there very pleasant. There are normally samples of something on offer to try too which is a great way to try something different! A bit pricey like all bakers delight stores but definitely good quality, fresh and service with a smile!

I frequently eat lunch here while I'm on campus. They do offer a variety of foods from hot wedges to crepes to pastas and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's a fully licensed bar and is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink - plenty of trees around and lots of tables outside and a few inside with some comfy bean bags too! There are also two pool tables. A fun place to relax on campus and always a great atmosphere when there is a band playing there.

I come here for coffee while I'm at uni. It's a fantastic little cafe and they do good meals here too. Their my favourite place for coffee on campus and offer a large variety including syrup flavours. The staff are always lovely, the only downside is it's often hard to get a table! They do offer take-away drinks which is really handy. Prices are really reasonable too!

Merretts Resturant is the restaurant in the anchorage hotel in Corlette. I've been there twice while on holidays in the area and it was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious and from memory is good value for money! In between courses they provide palette cleansers which was really nice. The food was cooked to perfection and I honestly can't fault the experience I received there!

They have a great menu here and the food is always tasty. The staff are friendly and do their best but I get the feeling they are often under-staffed here as there are normally long wait times for food and to order food. I think it would be more effective if waiters serviced tables rather than people having to go up to the counter to order. Twice I've been here things have been left off my order e.g. I got my food but not my drink and I got my coffee but not the cupcake I'd ordered and already paid for. So I think there is room for improvement in the service side of things. It is at a great location right on the esplanade at Warner's Bay and I do enjoy meeting up with friends here for lunch or a coffee and cake date. I'd just love to see better service because otherwise I wouldn't be able to fault this place!

I have been to scratchleys restaurant several times in the past mostly for birthdays etc, however in recent years I've just found it too expensive for what you get. The food is always high quality and the waiters are always lovely but I just find it too expensive now. The views are great though, you can look out across Newcastle Harbour, sometimes you will need sunglasses though if you go for lunch! I recommend it if you're willing to splurge on an expensive meal.

I love the cupcakes served here, they are always full of flavour and delicious! The Adamstown store is their main store and this Hamilton shop has very limited space for dining in so I'd suggest take away only from this shop! The cupcakes are well prices as are the coffees. The do surprise flavours everyday so there is always something different to try out when you go there! These are my favourite cupcakes in town and I only buy cupcakes from cupcake espresso these days. The staff are always friendly and they keep the store clean.

The cupcakes made by cupcake espresso are definitely the best I've ever tasted. They have a large variety of flavours all of which are delicious so I often end up buying more than I intend to! They do two surprise flavours each day so there is always something different when you go! The cupcakes are reasonably priced and so are the coffees. The coffees are always tasty and hot. You have the choice of eating in or taking away. The problem with eating in is there aren't many tables and it can get quite noisy inside the store. They also offer gift boxes for birthday cupcakes which is really cool. They've recently started deliveries to local areas and you can place orders at their website. The staff are always very friendly and reply quickly if contacted over facebook etc. The store is always clean and well presented. I don't buy cupcakes from anywhere else now!

I love their menu - so much to choose from! I'm not such a fan of the savoury dinner pancakes but I love going here for breakfast when I'm holidaying in the area! There is something for everybody and they provide such large servings you'll never leave hungry! I've always found the staff to be pleasant.

I've been here a few times both with friends and with my family for a family holiday. The rooms are comfortable, clean and modern and some rooms have swim-out facilities which means you're instantly at the huge pool which loops around the entire resort. My family and I enjoyed playing tennis on the courts there and the restaurant is great for some evening cocktails and a bite to eat! It's close to shops and not far from the town centre. There is a bowling ally right across the road which is great for wet weather days. The pool is always clean however it would be great if there was a bit more shad around the pool. I'd recommend it to anyone, one of the best resorts I've been to!
