There was a lot of hype about this place when it first opened and I've been there several times for dessert after dinner or a movie but I don't go here anymore. It's always too busy, last time I had to line up for 15 minutes just to place my order. Whenever I've come in it's very difficult to find an empty table and more often than not empty tables are left with the last occupants dirty plates and glasses on top and one time there was a big chocolate spill on my chair that had not been cleaned off. Staff are polite but really need to clear tables off when people leave. The food is yummy and rich as promised and there is a good variety to select from, however it is overpriced in my opinion. Good for a one off treat if you can manage to visit at an off peak time as it's not worth a long wait!

Nando's Charlestown provides good service although sometimes it can be a bit of a wait for meals (depending on the time of day). It can be very difficult finding a table here at dinner time and staff need to be more vigilant at clearing tables after people have left. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you order but there is plenty to choose from on the menu and you can tailor how spicy you want your meal by what intensity sauce you order. Meals are good sizes and the staff are friendly and well mannered. Overall a decent casual place if you are a fan of chicken!

I come here sometimes in summer with my boyfriend to get some hot chips for lunch so I can eat them by the lake. The chips are always very tasty but a little expensive for the amount you get. They also do slushies which are very tasty and refreshing. I have found there is always a long wait time (even just on an order of chips) even if the store isn't particularly busy. The staff could also make more of an effort to be friendly (even if they just smiled). I always get the feeling that the staff just want me in and out of the shop as quickly as possible, which is disappointing. I come here mainly out of convenience as it's close to the lake but if there was another take-away option close by I'd prefer not to buy from here.

I've been going here for my haircuts since I was a little kid and I honestly wouldn't consider going anywhere else! The hairdressers here are lovely people who know what they're doing! I've never had a bad haircut from here! They listen to what you want and always make sure you're happy before you leave! The salon itself is very well presented and quite stylish and all the equipment is top notch! The hairdressers are also very knowledgeable about good hair-care products and are happy to share their knowledge with you! The prices here are also very reasonable and there are cheaper prices for kids hair cuts too! It's a great salon I'd really recommend it!

I had lunch here while I was in Sydney for the day. It was very good value for money with large portion sizes for very reasonable prices. The waiter also brought us complimentary bread while we waited for our mains! It's in a great location with views of the harbour bridge depending on where you sit. The wait staff were very professional and we received our meals very quickly. I had a very enjoyable meal and would happily visit again when I'm in the area!

I come here for a cup of coffee and a sweet while I'm shopping sometimes. The cakes and slices are a little pricey for what you get but they always taste good! Staff are friendly and well presented but sometimes it does take a while for your order to be brought to your table!

I took advantage of an offer they had online last year where you could get a pair of glasses totally free! I ordered my pair, entered my prescription details and a few days later I received my order in the mail - all I had to pay was shipping! They also included a variety of vouchers in my order and I got a free case and lens cleaner plus a free mini screwdriver keying which is really handy for adjusting glasses out and about! I haven't bought anything from them since but they did provide excellent service and great deals!

I've been going here for my eye check ups for the last 5 years and I've been very happy each time I visit. Wai-Yoong is a wonderful optometrist and is thorough in her check-ups. She's easy to talk to and the admin staff are also lovely. They also send out reminders when you are in need of an eye check-up so you'll never forget!

I've been going to this doctors surgery for as long as I can remember, I've had appointments with most of the doctors there at some point or other and I've found them all to be very professional and helpful. My main doctor is great, very thorough and knows his stuff! However if you have an afternoon appointment you could be waiting for a while, sometimes I've waited close to an hour for my appointment however it is worth the wait (in my opinion). The receptionists are always friendly and will try to fit you in. The surgery has recently undergone renovations and is now quite large with a few new doctors now part of the team. The waiting room is quite spacious and they do have two flat screen tv's which are usually set to the discovery or lifestyle channel so there is always something interesting to watch. They do offer bulk billing but it depends on which doctor you see and how long your appointment goes for and the nature of your appointment etc.

I went here for a friends birthday - we had high tea out the back which was a really lovely setting. The food was delicious, lovely sweets which I had to have seconds and thirds of! We were also provided some yummy punch and of course some savoury food too. I was really impressed with everything from the food to the service by the staff. I'd happily go back there and experience some things off their regular menu as I'm sure they'd be as tasty as their high tea!
