I tend to occasionally visit the beat when I am craving my music to be more hardstyle dance, so usually frequent downstairs. Don't be affraid of anything you have heard if you are straight, as a straight guy I have no issues going to the beat and nor should you. It's got a very nice vibe to it and if you do like you hardstyle, this is the main place to get a dose of it.

The diversity is great here, you can go relax in the lounge areas or go all out on the dancefloor. Some may say the cover is steep but it's standard for most places in the valley. Also the smoking area is good and as a non smoker it doesn't annoy me when I go up there with friends who smoke. Drinks a little on the expensive side but for one of the bigger clubs in the valley it really isn't that bad. No dramas when I have been there and staff are friendly and also helpful when a friend had lost an ID and found it for us.

Very convienient as a 24/7 grocery shop. Usually have everything in stock that you need when all the other shops are closed. My only problem is at times the service can be quite sub-par but can look past that as the pros do outweigh the cons.

Always great service and pizza nowadays. Used to be a little hit and miss but there is always a nice amount of toppings on the pizza, they don't looked rushed and are always nice in store. Considering there is no "gourmet" pizza places in the area, this is the best choice by far.

Decent joint, better than it's across the road counterpart in terms of interior. It can be a little too busy at times so getting a drink can take a while.

Best nightclub in Brisbane, don't really have much more to say than that, get the best djs, best afterparties after festivals, best service, get amongst it.

Always a decent night at numnums, music sometimes a little suspect for my taste but there is always some form of drink specials and are never overly dear compared to some of it's neighbours. Full moon parties and days like Australia Day are always VERY good at the bird.
