I like that this IGA closes at 8pm daily although sometime they lock the door 5mins earlier. I don't like how the security guard likes to follow people around and the service check out chick makes us feel like criminals by constantly checking our bags even though we shop there daily. And whats with the checking of $50 notes? It's Perth! if there's counterfeit notes floating about which is very hard to do, we will sure know about it in a heartbeat!

We were starving by the time we rocked up to the Nandos. I noticed that this franchise is under new management. We waited a full three minutes to be served (there were no other customers) the manager at the till gave no eye contact but was busy talking to the serving girl. Eventually we were noticed and our orders taken, the man serving seemed to be impatient with our orders making me feel rather rushed and forgot to order myself a drink. We sat down and watched other customers trying to order. The restaurant itself was disorderly. There were still used plates on some of the tables and our table was very sticky. At this stage the man at the counter was busy reconciling his till/counting cash and writing up details in his book. Customers were waiting for him to finish before he took orders again. The wait for food took more than 15 minutes to serve and we didnt get our drinks that was ordered for the kids. We had to go back up to the counter and ask for it, the man looked annoyed that we interrupted his talking to ask for our drinks. The food itself was not great and i believed not worth the $15 over dollars for a plate of chips and four tiny chicken pieces (it advertised chicken thighs - i thought thighs were big). The rest of the food that came out was average. I left feeling quite unsatisfied with dinner and the service and atmosphere provided. I will not come back to this particular Nando's again.

Approximate cost: $15

Cramped and crowded, great stuff on offer and essentially get what you pay for. Hard to find assistance. Love their meatballs!
