Very good roast duck and pork right in the heart of Northbridge. Service is no frills but friendly and the prices are absolutely fantastic! On busy days you can be waiting a while for a table but it's well worth it.
Bloody expensive is the first word that comes to mind. Beer and food is all very pricey even by Perth standards. That being said it is a very cool, sophisticated looking venue. The staff are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you can afford the food it is very edible too.
Had them for a function and - as everyone else has said - they are absolutely fantastic, could not fault their produce or service. Would definitely hire them again.
Decent place for Chinese food - there are better and there are worse. It's nice, clean and well maintained whilst being quieter than most Chinese establishments. Prices are good for the quality of food and service is good enough to warrant going back. Some of the food did have that msg taste about it but mostly a decent place.
Swimming with dolphins is hands down one of the most exciting things you can do. For $180 you get plenty of time to go out and play with the many dolphins that call Koombana Bay home. Guides give you good info as well and you don't need to be a top class swimmer to join in (although confidence is recommended).
Approximate cost: $180
Even for those who don't like sailing hiring mini catamarans is a lot of fun! You don't need any experience and help is always close by if needed. It's very easy to learn the basics and by the end of it you'll be struggling to pull yourself away!
Fantastic, idyllic, quiet location right on the beach just south of Busselton. The holiday park is very well shaded with ample grassy areas, BBQs, park benches and some really cool play equipment.
The location is pretty much perfect. Now I don't have a problem staying in no frills accommodation but the prices charged for very simple units at Siesta Park are absolutely ridiculous - It's such a fantastic location just a shame about the price
Approximate cost: $100-$300 per night
Yes the chocolate is quite expensive but it is the only chocolate I have found in Australia that is made with no more ingredients than the first chocolate ever was made. Using vintage machinery they make four types of chocolate bars using just cocoa beans and sugar - no bonding agents, preservatives, fillers etc. at all... the taste is just remarkable.
Approximate cost: $9.90
Easily the best place to go if you need a new camera or even just advice on your current one. A huge range of everything from basic digital cameras to all these new age DSLRS, GoPros etc. The staff are clearly very enthusiastic about photography themselves and offer a wealth of advice. Prices are pretty good for Perth as well.
Lafayette is all class. An extensive range of wines and cocktails as well as a decent beer and food menu - albeit at a rather high price. The atmosphere is great, everyone is dressed up and very well behaved - none of those drunkards that Perth is becoming so notorious for floating around.
