This review is for Kanji Sushi, Caringbah NSW

Kanji Sushi always jumped out at me when I drove down the Kingsway. So one day I decided to stop. From the street you can't tell that there isn't much seating, probably enough room for 6 people comfortably, 10 at a squeeze. It is absolutely packed with people though, ordering takeaway and picking up their phoned through orders. I picked whatever was on the picture sign, which was large sushi roll for $10. Not having the sushi premade and on display made it a little crazy picking a menu item, but I got through it. After all, freshly made sushi has got to be better! I must have frantically read somewhere on the menu that there was no charge for half and half, so I ordered teriyaki chicken and fresh salmon and avocado which was beautiful and full of fillings for $10.50, great food and service.

Approximate cost: $10.50

Bangor Tavern is a great place for weekend lunch or catch up with family and friends for lunch and drinks. I have been myself to the place few times on the weekends. The place is usually packed with families or group of people to enjoy great lunch outside in the garden on sunny weather. The food is alright - pub food but great big portions so you wont leave hungry.Friday and Saturdays nights are usually busy and there is a space to dance with DJ too. On the weekend usually you will see some playing live music.Over the winter nights the room with the fireplace and comfy couches is place to be.

You can pre order the cakes online, or you can turn up in the shop and see what is available on the day. The cakes are a little more expensive here ($38-$45) but how they look, the quality and the reaction you get from these cakes is worth it. On a more casual note, if you find your self wanting a coffee and cake to yourself, with a friend or grandparent, the fruit tarts and mini lemon meringue pies are to die for. The fruit tart, a personal favourite, has the perfect biscuit base, a creamy custard filling and fresh tasting fruit on top, but the best part is the fine lining of white chocolate in the biscuit base which makes these just better than anywhere else. You can sit in the shop and enjoy a coffee or take it away.

Seriously good coffee. Always busy and buzzing with locals, it is such a wonderful place to get coffee. A very simple food menu emphasizes the importance of coffee, with the baristas taking every care to serve up the tastiest coffee in the shire. There I said it. This place is officially my favorite place to get coffee. On top of being perfectly made, the actual taste of the coffee is perfection. The place gets packed so ensuring smooth service is a honed skill for these guys. Even though it's always pretty busy I never have to wait long for my coffee. Not a lot of sitting space though.

Having eaten their pizzas on two occasions, I have to say that this business has excellent food. Their pizza deals are great value like the $59 deal that gives you 3 large family pizzas, 1 pide, 1 sml lasagna, 1 garlic bread and 1 bottle of soft drink.Their pizza range is fantastic. They filling and taste great. I have a family of six and the $59 deal left us with enough pizza to share for lunch the following day. I can't wait to trust their kebabs.

The food here is really good, especially the chicken burgers. All made with really fresh ingredients. The prices are what you would expect for a local independent take away. My personal favourite is the chicken Caesar burger which is absolutely delicious!!The real downside of plucked is the service. The wait times are usually 10 minutes or more and if its slightly busy, even longer. You really can't be in any rush when you want something from plucked.

Love this place and everytime i go here i order the GF fruit bread which I chose for brekky was actually really good and It's homemade, chock full of fruity goodness, and the coffee was large and satisying. I wish I'd been there around lunchtime, the menu made me embarassingly drooly: 'strawberry fennel sald with pistachio dukkah and balsamic dressing'. And a 55cent babycino for the littlies, great food and reasonable prices, staff are also very kind and lovley.

Cafe Cee is a great standby cafe which seems to do a roaring trade. It provides a range of affordable options for breakfast and lunches, does a good coffee, and you can even pick up a fresh juice. They have options for the kids and a relaxed and comfy atmosphere, You can come in for pasta on Monday nights, surf and turf on Thursdays, and the regular dinner menu Friday and Saturday, roasts on Sunday, all BYO. They're very family friendly, so no problem bringing the kids. The service is friendly, and I always try, although rarely succeed to get one of the benches along the wall for maximum comfort. Some yummy cakes on offer too. You can contact them if you've got a function coming up as well. All in all a great no fuss cafe that's always busy.

If you're gonna be in Blue Mountains, you MUST go here! I did three times in a weeks time (in between some intense hiking trips)! My wife & I loved the creamy crepes and the grilled salmon toast (had yummy cheese&avocado)...even the side house salad was the best house salad we ever had! How weird is it for someone to review the house salad?? But seriously, I think it says a lot about this place! It had some unique fresh greens and an amazingly light fresh vinegrette! We also highly recommend the chocolate topped custard bar (has shredded cocunut...sorry forget the name) AND the Florentine cookies! Boo on the Choc Roc cake, too dry like shortbread cookies or biscotti (not my thing...I'm all about moist, rich, creamy, heavy)!!!! No wi fi is a boo! Easy to park and find seating. Wish I could come here too every morning&lunch.
