I stayed here once...never again. The service was non existent & as there was no lift we had to drag our own bags up the stairs. The room was old & not very clean. I'd think twice before booking here
I use the airporter shuttle whenever i'm travelling interstate because if travelling alone it is cheaper than getting a taxi. The shuttle picks you up at your door in time for your flight & it only costs $10 per person
Approximate cost: $10
I've stayed at the Mercure in Launceston twice & on both occassions I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are quite spacious & tastefully furnished. The staff are friendly & helpful & the restaurant is reasonably priced. Its just a short stroll to the centre of Launceston & close to everything
Approximate cost: $120
I've been taking my labradore here to be bathed & groomed for a while. The lady is gentle with the dogs & she does a good job. I get my dog bathed about 3 times a year & she clips his nails & put some dog deodarant on him so he smells good for a while. I'm quite happy with the service
i ride on these buses heaps when i go to hobart to see family. The buses are clean & smell nice & there is never any violence on them. The trip is a relaxing one & the driver is friendly
Approximate cost: $1 for students
I go here quite a lot & order their chicken burger & chips, it is so big that i can never finish it. The chips are very nice, never greasy & have a nice sprinkling of chicken salt on them With the chicken burger & chips it comes with a can of coke & its only 7 bucks...cheap as!
I stay here whenever i go to Melbourne because it is centrally located & close to most attractions. The hotel rooms are a little dated & in much need of a revamp but they are clean & comfortable. I usually book a family room & that has a double bed & 2 single beds in it, digital tv, bar fridge, kettle, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, hangers in the wardrobe, air con, chairs & fully equipped bathroom. If you need clean towels they can be found on a trolley in the hallway & there is a guest laundry with washers & dryers. They have a swimming pool, spa & sauna too. Next door to the hotel is Alice's restaurant & for an extra $14 on the cost of your room you can enjoy a full buffet breakfast each morning. The service is excellent & the staff are very helpful. For budget accommodation this really is a fantastic hotel
I went here once with a friend & had a hot chocolate. The drink was ok i guess but the service wasnt the best & i'd say they guy serving must have been having a bad day because he was a bit grouchy. The shop was clean...i guess thats one thing in their favour
Approximate cost: $5
I lived at Beauty Point for 17 years & was a regular at the waterfront hotel for meals & after moving to launceston our family return to beauty point occasionally & stay at the waterfront hotel when we do. The meals at the waterfront hotel are delicious...they always use fresh produce in their meals & the serving sizes are quite generous. The rooms, although not overly large are comfortable & clean with amazing views of the marina & Tamar River. A really tranquil spot for a getwaay
My kids love going to petland to look at their wide selection of cold water & tropical fish but their favourites are the puppies & baby rabbits. The store is small & cramped because of the amount of pet supplies that they stock. They sell puppies, kittens, bunnies, birds, fish & guinnea pigs. The store is neat & tidy & the animal cages & tanks are always clean & smell fresh. I've bought quite a few fish from them over the years & the only reason they have died is because of kids overfeeding them, i have never bought a diseased fish from here. I regularly visit petland at the moment because i'm looking to buy a new puppy to breed with my maltese dog. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend petland to anyone looking for a pet or just pet supplies
