We celebrated my brother's birthday here with the family! They have a massive courtyard/ beer garden which is also kid friendly! Perfect place to come to unwind with friends for drinks, watch the footy, dinners or just a quick feed, Dick's is the ideal place to come!
We love the pizza's , pastas, wedges and their scotch fillet steak! My kids love the gelatos here too and on Sunday's they do $12 pizza's! Yum!
Service is friendly, plenty of good menu item picks, great atmosphere, we always return! Love this place!
We stayed at Willows Motel when we passed through town for the night for a friends wedding! You stay in unit rooms and you can choose whether to have a lengthy stay, weekend stay or overnight. We found it comfy, roomy enough as we had a big room with a double bed for the kids and queen size for us! We did find the furniture and decor a bit outdated, definitely needed a revamp but we didn't mind as we pretty much slept overnight after coming back from a wedding and left in the morning!
Located not too far from the centre of town in Goulburn , away from the main streets, very quiet and the reception staff didn't hestitate to bring us extra towels when my son decided to throw them into the shower and turn the taps on!
Great friendly service, we would stay again if we are ever in Goulburn!
Great pit stop before making our way home to Sydney, they serve great coffee, drinks, delicious pies, sandwiches. It;s hard to miss their big large, verandah type roof just overlooking the Big Merino in Goulburn! You seriously can't go pass their chunky beef pies, the filling is so tender and the pastry soft and flaky, just like how a pie should be!
Great family atmosphere, gets quite busy and always packed! Great snack for that road trip ahead!Always a queue when we come here, hard not to see why though! Will be back!
Linda and her staff here at the Chocolate Room are fantastic, everytime we have come the service and food has always been to my liking! Mint hot chocolate, their " waffle wonder" which is basically belgian waffles served with hot chocolate sauce, sliced strawberries and yummy vanilla ice- cream is amazing! Friends and I like to share their chocolate fondue when we're feeling the need for a chocolate fix!
Lots of delectable desserts on display in their glass cabinets, clean and cosy! Great pit stop for coffee, tea, desserts and a chocolate hit! Will be back!
We love coming to Paddy's Markets most weekends with friends. ALways manage to find something we like to buy and often just enjoy comign for a browse. Clothing, bags, footwear, luggage, accessories etc. Just something for everyone.
keep in mind it does get busy and quite crowded on weekends , quite hot too! If the food on offer like kebabs and hot chips aren't your thing, you can always take a wander inside Market City and make your way to the food court for more food options! Makes for a perfect day in the city!
Buu Buu is a clothing store in Cabramatta , located on busy John Street. They sell casual and formal wear for kids at discounted prices! I've picked up bargain dresses for my daughter to wear at weddings and love that the dress is versatile and can be worn for other occassions!
They also sell a range of items for babies as well as bargain suit's for page boys at weddings. Great stop for wedding attire for the little people in your life! Great prices, love coming here to shop or simply browse!
I do love coming to Costco but mainly for the food court - love their pizza slices and hot dogs! Like others have mentioned its the best place to buy in bulk from groceries, to rings and clothing - all under one giant warehouse roof, if you have a large family or can share with a friend! This store is crazy swamped on the weekends so I recommend coming early before it opens or during the weekdays (morning as well) to get a parking spot and less crowded! I love the taste testing on certain products they have in store. Great range of products, great taste etc.
Membership is $60 a year (with additonal household card for one member of the family) and must be presented to gain access inside. Those without a membership cannot shop themselves unless accompanied with a member who has a Costco card and is added to the same docket ( as member).
Approximate cost: $60/year
Teoza Home Centre is located next to CBA on busy Canley Vale Rd. It's a discount , bric-a brac with bargain prices on home wares, stationary, toiletries, cleaning products etc. I usually come in for a browse but have purchased birthday cards and soap for the home here.
Good location, aisles wide enough for a browse do get quite a bit of foot traffic so does get squashy. The lady at the checkout is friendly, good cheap prices!
Yum yum!! Caravalle is a gelato and dessert bar serving delicous and wonderful flavoured gelatos, desserts, coffee, drinks and a range of teas!
My friend and I came with her kids today and had some gelato. Walking in and seeing the colourful gelato bar, it;s hard to resist at one scoop! Single cup is $4.90 and double cup is $6.90 - prices range up to the take home pack at $12.90! I had the taro flavoured single cup..it was heavenly. Creamy, intense flavour of taro and loved that it's made fresh! My friend loved her pandan flavoured one as well. You can also taste test flavours before deciding. Lots of options to choose, the salted caramel tasted delicious too!
The place and decor is simply amazing.. almost like a lounge meets Thailand - plush blue velvet booths, glistening chandeliers, Thai gold Statues , bright mirrors and lots of glistening gold... hard not to notice when you walk past!
Located next door to the Popular Holy Basil (same owner actually) and across the rd from CBA, Caravalle is a gelato lovers dream! Will be returning to sample the other flavours!
Approximate cost: $4.90/cup
Factorie is a men's and women's clothing store ( very similar to Cotton On) and has just opened inside Neeta City Shopping Centre on Level 1, just around the corner from Big W.
I was here the other day having a browse and ended up grabbing some bargain clothing for friends. $10 hooded sweat jackets, $4.95 sleeveless denim tops, $4.95 pom pom beanies, $19.95 boyfriend style jeans and some ipad covers for $1 each.
The store is big enough to have a good browse, lots of good lighting especially inside the fitting rooms ( where you need it most), friendly staff who are willing to hunt down sizes, lots of bargain sales on at the moment! Left happy with my purchases and would shop here again!
Parking is available inside the centre, off street parking or in nearby streets and its' a 5 minute walk from Fairfield Railway Station , for those who prefer to leave the car at home!
