I wish I’d taken heed of the poor ratings Tynans Wollongong service department was given before purchasing my LDV. I find it difficult to believe the five star reviews are genuine. My experience mirrors the one star reviews given here. Mark the service manager is possibly the rudest, misogynistic man I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. As a result of this man I was determined never to return to this particular service centre. My 1 year old LDV had to be towed a month after its last service. I should of realised I would have a problem when after waiting in Wollongong all day while it was being serviced I returned to pick up my vehicle only to be told they didn’t have the skill set to make the repairs. I’ve left 3 messages over the course of a month and a half for Madelyn Tynan to call me regarding my concerns. I’m still waiting for a response. I have let time pass before this review to give Tynans adequate time to respond. Simple fact is , once they have made the sale, they just don’t care. Currently I have no vehicle to drive , I’ve lost days at work, and at minimum a two week wait at another dealership until someone can diagnose the issue with my as new vehicle. I should note when I called Wollongong Tynans who last ‘serviced’ the vehicle, they told me it would not be looked at until the end of April. No empathy, just more patronising remarks from the service manager. And as a previous reviewer experienced, left on hold a number of times for well over 15 minutes while they supposedly checked’ the notes they had on my car from the last service. To all potential customers of this Motor group please heed the warnings of the one star reviews. Don’t go anywhere near this dealership. It’s worth the trip to go and buy your vehicle outside the Wollongong ,Kirrawee area. You will be treated poorly from start to finish. The other one star reviews have made me feel somewhat better, as much as Tynans would love to say that it is me that has the problem, with all the other poor reviews here on google, quite obviously it isn’t me. I’m more than happy to give anyone thinking of buying from this dealership proof and further of details my experience.
