I recently moved house so used Paul's Cleaning service for both old and new locations. The carpet cleaning in the new location was done quickly. There was a bit of a smell like wet dog after the cleaning but I suspect this is normal. No major complaints for this service.

I booked a full end of lease cleaning for the old location. The crew showed up right on time and were very friendly. I popped in a few times and eventually had to leave so I paid them up front and trusted they would finish the job. There must've been some communciation issues because when I double checked the unit, everything was cleaned well except the carpet. It wasn't properly steam cleaned. I have a cat and some old food stains were still crusty and clearly not cleaned. It looked like it was quickly vacuumed even if that at all because there were some dust bunnies on the floor still. I thought it was an oversight.

The next week I had to continually call Paul's to work this out. The 'plus' is that their customer service is very good. They're available at all hours and were always courteous and professional. The 'minus' is that I even had to spend my time chasing this up. I also had to ask the property manager to let me back into the unit to take follow up pictures to prove that the carpet wasn't cleaned. I would think that by honoring your guarantee that my bond will be returned I wouldn't have to even take these pictures. The building manager wanted it cleaned and that's all I should have to say. It was a big hassle and by the end of the week I had already determined I was going to write a bad review for Paul's.

Finally, they had agreed to come back and finish the job. And in the end it didn't matter because by then the owner had already decided to replace the entire carpet anyways. I didn't know about this until the same time Paul's agreed to finish the job. As a compromise they refunded me a small amount because from my perspective they didn't do the full job I paid them to do....regardless that the carpet is going to be replaced.
