Went here with my partners boss & wife as boss decided to shout us dinner to celebrate our engagement. Mixed feelings for here i must say. The oysters kilpatrick & oysters champagne were marvellous. The garlic bread was very dry & not buttery nor garlic-y as expected. The cola in my partners rum was flat. The glass of moscato i had was very nice altho was not a full glass as expected (had measurements on the side of the glass) my partner had the new york cut steak ordered medium. It came well done & although tender was very much like cardboard & bland. Thumbs up for cooking it through without cremating the outside though! I had the pasta fish with a tomato & garlic base. Although the pasta was over cooked it was still a lovely meal with balanced flavours. While there was plenty of room to move it was very busy & there was only 2 staff serving tables. Parking is very far from the restaurant entrance & is very dark to walk to & from your vehicle.
Live very locally tot his place & have eaten from here quite a few times. Their burgers are huge! My favourite is a hamburger with the lot. I find the patties are always very flavoursome & hearty. Their fish is lovely although i am not a big fish lover. We love their chips & potato cakes & their family feed deals are always well priced. The store is abit small so is very squashy when busy. They have out door eating facilities but not indoor. Food is cooked fresh in front of you with very little done out of view so you can be assured you are getting a great feed.
Same business as tooradin but now located in grantville! Same brilliant food as tooradin. Service is great with food made very fresh. Wait can be a little long particularly on thursday, friday & saturday nights. Serves our all time favourite pizza the number 3 bacon, onion & garlic pizza! The pastas are also fantastic. The staff are very friendly & willing to do what ever they can for you. They do deliveries most nights if a driver is available or they are not run off their feet. They also serve many other items. They are open from 11am everyday!
This little opportunity shop is great. Cheap prices, great quality & doesnt smell like an op shop at all. The staff are great & will do their best to help you with anything. The only downfall is the tiny car park they have that its probably 6 cars. I purchased my bowling gear from here. A ball, shoes, bag, polisher & wrist brace all for $10!

Somethings here can be expensive & service can be a little slow but purchases we have made here we dont regret. We went to purchase a rice cooker & because it was cheaper at another store they took $10 off the price to match the price of the other store. We also purchased our laptop here & have not regretted it one bit! It cost us a little over $300 & was the last one in store which made it the display one. They gave us a discount for this factor & a memory upgrade for our time. This store also has a 10% off print cartridge deal when you take in your original empty cartridges for recycling. How good is that! Savings for being cartridge wise! We often browse here as they have discounts & clearance items & you dont get mauled by sales people.
I have always found this store marvellous. They have every little or big kitchen gadget that you can think of. They are really cheap with plenty of clearance sales happening & clearance items. I had to purchase a milk thermometer for my work & this was the only place i could find one. Not only did i find one but i found there are 2 different sizes! I was expecting to pay about $30 for one but not here! One was only $7 & the other only $11! The lady was very helpful, loved a chat & i always love to stick my head in for a look as im going past. Thank you!
Although this is very expensive the price is consistent with a general tourist attraction but its not a general tourist attraction! There is so much to do here a day just doesnt cut it! The light show at night is fascinating & one of the highlights for my trip. During the day there is so much to do! Pan for gold which you can keep, pose dressed up in period clothes for photo shoots, shop at the old time stores such as the lolly shop, or get locked up in the stocks for the fun of it! Great for young & old & inbetween. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is alot of walking to be done here.
Went here on a date one night & quite enjoyed ourselves. Although it was abit squishy & busy it was still comfortable. The service was great & menu had plenty of selections of quality food. Parking was abit odd shaped & made it hard to get in & out of spots. I cant remember what i had but my partner had the steak & remember he cleaned his plate. They have eat in & take away available.
Approximate cost: $24
For only 60c you get to enter & browse a HUGE market with a selection of some most unusual products. From purely australian to purely ethnic to purely the most unusual thing you can imagine you will find it all here. Tons of parking available as it is ran in the dandenong drive in so it is relatively easy to find. I have purchased many things here over the years from bric a brac, to fruit & veg to clothes & even bought replaceable shaver heads for a popular razor brand for next to nothing compared to the supermarkets! You seriously cant go wrong for the money it costs to enter. Open every sunday rain, hail or shine. Generally it is free to enter on the wetter days.
This place is huge. I have been here numerous times & bought many bargains. I have spent all sorts of amounts here & loved to just spend half hour from my shopping trip just browsing here. Plenty of bargains to be had & the quality considering it is second hand goods is great! They must be very thorough in the sorting room. The money raised goes to the diabetes foundation which goes on to help many people. Parking can be hard to find & alot of parking meters around here but this doesnt reflect much on the store.
