I have purchased my camera on Sep 1st at digiDirect Brisbane store. And I was really disappointed to find there was a dead pixel on the LCD screen after 7 days of use. So I went to the store to ask for an exchange for a new camera, but the staff said this is not a “major problem” and can only be sent to repair. And on Sep 27th, I received an email to pick up my camera which said it has been repaired. But when I turned on my camera, I found the dead pixel was still on the screen, and the problem still exists! And the staff said that the camera could only be sent back for repair again. So I asked the staff if I could get a new one, but he said I could only replace the camera within 14 days of purchase. So I searched for the return and exchange policy and found that on official website did not mention that customers can only replace the item within 14 days of purchase. I feel very disappointed and angry, I think the time and number of repairs of the camera has exceeded my tolerance period and is very unreasonable, I have the right to ask for a new camera.
So I wrote an email to the store. And the manager contacted me to say there was a communication problem and helped me exchange a new camera. I am happy to see that problem has been solved.
