Deceptive website

Check stock levels before placing an order.. appears to be the very stupid practice of this store to accept orders when they don't have stock..

I have purchased my camera on Sep 1st at digiDirect Brisbane store. And I was really disappointed to find there was a dead pixel on the LCD screen after 7 days of use. So I went to the store to ask for an exchange for a new camera, but the staff said this is not a “major problem” and can only be sent to repair. And on Sep 27th, I received an email to pick up my camera which said it has been repaired. But when I turned on my camera, I found the dead pixel was still on the screen, and the problem still exists! And the staff said that the camera could only be sent back for repair again. So I asked the staff if I could get a new one, but he said I could only replace the camera within 14 days of purchase. So I searched for the return and exchange policy and found that on official website did not mention that customers can only replace the item within 14 days of purchase. I feel very disappointed and angry, I think the time and number of repairs of the camera has exceeded my tolerance period and is very unreasonable, I have the right to ask for a new camera.

So I wrote an email to the store. And the manager contacted me to say there was a communication problem and helped me exchange a new camera. I am happy to see that problem has been solved.

Frauds....less than 1 star for online. sold me a camera that exists for sale as a used item, then says oops this used item is on Backorder? not sure how that works, then say yes its at Sydney store, then 3 days later OOOOOOPPPS we sold it.
Theives, dont use them. Thats the online service. Not sure how the shopfronts are

They use only Phillipino VA's for support, noone of any authority can get on the phone, they don't solve any issues unless you follow up 8 times.

Had to cancel a pre order, took me 4 follow ups to get the refund, I had used 2 gift cards in this pre order too, they didn't allow me to get a refund on the gift cards either, finding this second part out took 3 days also.

Then when they sent me the gift cards again, I couldn't use the second one and when I went to pay it wouldn't allow me to process any payment methods.

I am absolutely blown away by how incomptetent this company is, they create issue after issue after issue and unless you get on the front foot with them they will do nothing.

Placed an order for a pair of binoculas & then received an email stating that they had oversold the items and were not able to say when they would be in stock again. When I checked my credit card the full amount had been deducted. The email stated I should contact them if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. I called them to cancel and sent an email after being on hold half an hour. I have bought goods from digidirect before without an issue but for some reason they seem to be running it all as a scam now. Very disappointing.

Hello Angus. I'm sorry that your item was on backorder. When an item is on backorder we order it from the supplier, and advie the ETA that the supplier provides us. Usually it's 7-14 days, but occasionally the supplier might not have stock themselves, or are unable to advise the ETA, as it appears happened in this case. I apologise for that. I had a similar experience to some of the other customers below during the Black Friday sale, where my purchase was oversold & I was put on a wait list. I was offered a $50 gift voucher for the inconvenience. I waited a couple of weeks & then sent through an email to [email protected] asking for an update on my order. I received a response within 24 hours from Shawn, saying they had chased up my order & had organised it to be expressed posted to me at no extra cost.

It was unfortunate that DigiDirect oversold products over the Black Friday sale period (most likely due to a stock integration issue with their website I would assume), but once I chased my order up, the customer service was more than acceptable. I would definitely give these guys another chance in the future, they have great prices & a huge range of products.

Stand for 13" or 15" Displays for $99 so I can use the Espresso ED0001 13 in Touchscreen Display Monitor - Grey. I also bought an espressoPen for $119 so I can draw on the Espresso ED0001 13 in Touchscreen Display Monitor - Grey. They were both posted together with Express Post of $10.

On Monday 30th January 2023 the items were confirmed lost in transit by Australia Post so on Tuesday 31st January 2023 they gave me a full refund since I never received both the items.

Placed an order for a Miops Trigger and cable I received an email stating that they had oversold the items and were not able to say when they would be in stock again. When I checked my credit card account I found they had deducted $278. The email stated I should contact them if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. This I did and have only received automated reply, tried there customer service line gave up after being on hold for over an hour. Have bought goods from digidirect before without an issue but I will be thinking twice before doing it again

yet again digidirect have sold me goods online that they don't actually have in stock Then it takes at least two days to let you know that its not in stock (if they tell you at all) and they have no idea when it will be in stock. They have a stock system that allows them to oversell items so if you need something in anything less than a month be warned.... you may not get it in time. I will now be using another retailer.
