100/20 is ethernet speed only not wifi speed!! dishonest advertisements!!

Dishonest advertisements! I started on a plan that didn't have the speed they promised. I had to speak to four people before someone figured out why and admitted I shouldn't have been put on that plan. The lady understood AGL had done something wrong and made it right by crediting me for previous months because the lower plan was lower-priced than what I had been advised to choose. She sorted out NBN fibre for me to get installed so I can have faster speed up to 100/20. Even though the NBN took a while to sort out, I still had to pay the same price. I called again to request a price reduction, but they claimed they couldn't because according to them, the lower plan had never been priced lower; that wasn't true. Either the other lady managed to lower the price previously, or she knew the system was corrupt.

I finally received NBN but had to call back because the speed did not match what I'd been promised. They informed me that it's not the WiFi speed that you're paying for at 100/20, it's the Ethernet speed and that's why it was slow even after the NBN installation. They said they can't do anything about it and that I need to connect it to Ethernet for faster speed all the time. To me, that's incorrect and amounts to dishonest advertising. Moreover, my friends and family with other companies get the promised speed with WiFi, not just Ethernet connections.

There was also an incorrect order for routers which resulted in incorrect charges. One lady told me to keep paying $86.50 instead of the previous price and to pay it on the 28th. But it turns out, I was getting late payment fees due to this misinformation. The math didn't add up with what I owed, $24.50, even when taking the $10 late payment fees into account. When I called to clarify, one guy claimed he couldn't help and asked me to call back the next day. When I did and found the same results, it seemed like the lady didn't care either, so I requested to speak to a manager for clarification. She hung up on me, not the first time AGL has done this. So I had to call back and learned that she didn't do what she promised. Finally got to speak to a manager, and he didn't do much either but promised to do something about the poor conduct of his employees and apologized. When I asked for clarification about the $24.50 charge, the guy claimed it was from a previous balance. I explained that I was told to pay $86.50 and ignore the higher payments, but there were no notes to clarify or credit.

In conclusion, there are lots of phone calls to people who don't want to be there, frequent lies, claims that you need to call back, and hang-ups. There are also dishonest advertisements and poor communication within the company.

Minimum work and get his money and disappear

I used Johan to help with a rodant issue, I have a camera in the ceiling to capture the rodent's where abouts. I have a noise alarm on my camera and I had it on to try to scare the rodants. Obviously that wasn't ever a deterrent to the rats hence why I used Jim's Pest Control as they where the only one available at that time. I turned the sound off on the camera after Johan installed the baits in the manholes. Which I have evidence of the noise being turned off in the video as the rat rushed to the baits because of the smell until they got closer. The rats straight away stopped and turned away as it smelt the scent of Johan, probably from him wiping his sweat from his brow and/ or other things as he had one set gloves he used for the job. I tried Johan's bait for a whole week and more prior getting another Pest Coller in because Johan's baits were not eaten and no results. It's been a good month now and evidence still shows that Johan's baits still hasn't been eaten where the camera is.

I also purchased a smelling scent off him even though it looked like it's been used and opened from the seal (secondhand). I asked him about it and he confirmed that's how they all come, all opened and used. Funny enough, I got one off the other Pest Control company and it was sealed and clean not like the one Johan gave me.

I did also ask about the warranty as all other companies provide minimum three months warranty. The reason I got was "some rats might not go for the baits as they might prefer other food around the house etc." I was desperate and no one else was available at the time. When I gave Johan an honest review after clear evidence his baits have been contaminated, he said "I didn't think you where a person to give me a bad review." I let him know if his baits have been contaminated and wasn't willing to came back and try again than its not great customer service. It's evidence he just does his bare minimum and takes his money and goes. No invoice or receipt given either.

The other Pest Control company didn't just ask where the manholes to just install the bait stations where the manholes were (not direct path of rats). They go into the ceiling space to thoroughly check the rodent's paths and other entry paths, and checked Johan's bait stations to see if any baits were eaten (none Johan's baits were eaten). They also reinstalled Johan's bait stations so they are in the rat's path and re- scented his bait stations except for one just to prove Johan's contamination. They used different gloves to just touch the bait stations and installing them.

The sensitivity they took and the thoroughness compared to Johan's was astonishing and the results are speaking for itself. They have come back two times to keep rebaiting and checking the paths of the rats, a total of three times, their baits including Johan's re-scrented baits have been eaten and rats are dieing. That is the reason why I asked for a refund to Johan's management but they are convinced the noise from the camera was a deterrent but I have evidence that it is off.

I have also left one of Johan's station untouched to compare the results, which is evidence that the other Pest Control company are working including the rescented Johan's baits, because of their professionalism compared to Johan's one originally he installed which is not working. The other Pest Control company worked within one week for their baits to be eaten and Johan's baits been over a month now (I gave Johan's baits a good month to compare and prove the contaimination)
