We had dinner at Utsav and found it was great. This little gem of a place (although not so little - i can seat up to 200 i think) popped up a while back. We had dinner there after being a regular at poolwari in ringwood. All food dishes are great, service was very good too and ambiance nice. We went on a Monday so it was quiet, however I could imagine it being very busy and loud on the weekend. I have a birthday coming up so we will go then, which is on a Saturday night. Will be interesting to see the difference!

We had our wedding reception here November last year (2007) - we could not have been more happy with the staff, service and location. Its set in Kangaroo Ground north or Eltham on a small vineyard. You cannot see it from the road so the seclusion is fantastic. There is a lake, chapel and function centre. The food served at the reception was fantastic and the size servings were great - not the usual stingy sizes you get. I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding. The reception centre is rustic and quite unique - it comes up a treat at night time so if you view during the day dont worry

We have been to this little gem of a place. Its not too flashy (no mexican place is) - but the quality of the food is great. How could you not like mexican food. The staff are attentive but nothing to brag about. I don't care though - I go for the food!

Only got takeaway from this venue recently, the quality of the food is pretty good. I recommend the butter chicken and rogan josh, naan is great! Could use a few more entrees (like onion bashi spelling?) - apart from that service was quick for takeaway and staff friendly

We have got take away a few times from here. Its always been good quality - I recommend the Pud Thai and the Sata Beef. The owners took over from a Chinese restaurant here and re furbished a tired looking venue into something very nice. Have not dined in yet so cannot tell you about service, however when picking up takeaway they have been very efficient and firendly.

I don't expect much from takeaway places in shopping centers. I got that with Addicted to chicken. The shop front looks good, there are lots of food on offer. They are a charcoal chicken shop. I got a chicken and avocado focacia there one day, the food was ok (if you like that microwaved crap that is then put in a press fo a couple of minutes) - I guess being chicken they have to microwave the crap out of it! The food is not what got me about this place, but rather the staff behind it. Stupid teenagers who don't want to be there carrying on their own conversations and not acknowledging that you're even there really annoys me. Thats what I got at this place. But what REALLY got me was that the girl who was serving me, after putting my focacia in the microwave, proceeded to rub her hands and fingers through her hair whilst talking to another girl about her weekend. Luckily for me someone else finished off preparing my food or I would have thrown it back at them. NONE of the staff had their hair up - all of them had long hair past their shoulders. I thought in a food establishment it was part of basic hygiene to have it up? Especially in a chicken shop? Not going back there again.

We usually get some fish and chips every friday from Flakeys. They do a really good Souvalaki (chicken, lamb, fish, vegetarian) - using the true method. Great size servings. Chips are good too - good size potato cakes. I suggest ringing your order through during peak times or go early - they get real busy weekends from 6pm onwards.

Small shop on Boronia Road in Vermont (near Canterbury Road intersection) - opposite the 7/11 - Good quality pizzas - although sometimes it depends on who's making them - can be hit and miss sometimes.

We owe our thanks for our place in Vermont to Scott. We were in a position to buy a couple of years ago. We registered our interest with Scott at Greensborough Plaza where he had a small booth. Generally we are wary about doing that at a shopping centre however Scott came over and was very honest and upfront about the process. He explained everything in detail and did everything for us, all we had to do was sign the paperwork. It could never have been easier. Scott came in the evening. He is very dedicated and experienced. He has helped some of our friends and we are recommending him to some more shortly with no hesitation.

We moved from Watsonia to Vermont 2 years ago and could not believe the value for money we got at VVV and the staff and vets were great. They really care about the animals. Everytime we have gone in there is hardly anyone there so they dont jam pack the place with bookings as there is 2 consultation rooms.
