I have been seeing Vanessa for a little over 2 months. My fitness levels have dramatically increased, and although I don't know how many kilos I have lost (as I am not weighing in with her) I have lost over 30 cms over my whole body. She takes the time to tailor her program to suit me personally. She works from her own home and has a great little setup with lots of variety in equipment. She is also fantastic if you need advice for things in between training sessions such as different stretches for muscles and dietary advice. But the thing I love best is her realistic goal setting and the way she has slowly built up the program for me so that I haven't gone out all hard and then got burnt out! If you want to see a Personal Trainer but didn't think you could afford it - then Vanessa's the trainer for you. I call her "Affordable Accountability"!

The lady that runs Nappy Mart is an inspiration to me as a mum. She has set up the "factory" so that it is child friendly and she brings her bub with her to work. She has sourced a fantastic range of nappies and related goods for parents to choose from and is more than happy to order things in or source items if there's something she hasn't got. Her prices are great - not as cheap as the Factory in Ferntree Gully, but by the time you factor in petrol and time, it's great value for money. She really looks after her customers and helps carry things to the car. Great service with a smile!

My daughter has been swimming at Kings for nearly 2 years now. I can't believe how well she has progressed since starting. The teachers are fabulous and on the odd occasion when there has been a personality difference, the Supervisor has quickly and efficiently changed things around to suit us. When my daughter struggled with new aspects, the staff helped her to transition beautifully. The staff make sure they get to know you and the kids are constantly being assessed so you know they are in the correct level for their ability. Kings have also started a Kings Active class (a bit like Gymbaroo) and I took my 2 year old there today and she had an absolutely ball! I've enrolled her for 4th term and can't wait for the Term to start! Big thumbs up to Kings Swim Centre in Chirnside Park!

The Wine Shak sell a range of wines to tempt many tastebuds and they are able to do this at a reduced rate because the bottles are all cleanskins. They can also run fundraisers and put on your own label (which they print with the details you provide). My daughter's kinder recently participated in this and made over $100 for doing surprisingly little. Tim, the owner, even came and ran a Wine Tasting in his own time - which was fanastic! It's a great way to experience a variety of wines at a reasonable cost.

I am a complete novice when it comes to quilting, but the staff at Stitch N Patch have been fantastic with their advice and assistance. I came back to show my quilt top and I think they were nearly as excited as me by what I had achieved. They always take their time to make sure you have what you need. They also put together some fantastic fabric bundles to make it easier to choose from their fantastic variety. If there's a particular button you're after, they're sure to have that too!

I regularly purchase clothes for my own kids and for gifts for others at Kuti Pie in Main Street, Lilydale. The staff are always VERY helpful and give great advice. They listen and provide you with realistic options. They have a great section for the kids to entertain themselves so that you can shop in (relative) peace and they also offer a Loyalty Reward Program. They have everything from PJ's to normal clothes, right through to dress ups and even formal wear. They also stock a fantastic range of unique baby gifts. If you're in Lilydale I recommend you give them a go!

We needed to increase the security lighting in our driveway (to deter thieves!) and also improve the lighting in the kitchen so I could actually see what I was cutting up for dinner! The Director, Dean and another Staff member came in and did exactly what we wanted. They were courteous and polite at all times - and were very patient with my 2 kids who asked hundreds of questions! They even did a follow up after the job to make sure we were happy! Not a normal "tradie" mentality!

The friendly staff at Ringwood Osteopathy receive a big thumbs up from me for the fantastic job they do. I have been a client for several years now and have only come away dissatisfied once - and when I told the owner, he was able to offer advice to me that alleviated my concerns. Any friend or family member that I have recommended have been very happy with the service they have received and what's more Dr Pearce has always sent a personal thanks to me - a nice touch in this day and age! Lilydale Medical Centre took fantastic care of my 16 month old daughter when she badly injured her knee. The Administration Staff were quick to act and made sure I was looked after too (I was a bit emotional!) The doctor we saw was extremely fastidious and we had several follow up visits. They are a fantastic centre that I would highly recommend.
