I ordered flowers to go to my girlfriend on the morning of her wedding and The Flower Man did such and amazing job. The flowers were gorgeous, turned up when they were supposed to and I was able to include a bottle of bubbles with them. I thought it was a little pricey but on shopping around it would seem that that is simply what flower deliveries cost in Sydney. I do get sent lots of specials and vouchers to use at the Flower Man now that I am signed up to receive emails from them so I will definitely use them again.

This is a standard Australia post - we went on a Saturday 3 weeks before Christmas and it had massive queues at 9am! However lots of gift ideas to browse while you are queuing - and the woman who served us obviously had a cold but was pleasant and helpful throughout,

I got a pair of high heels re-heeled. The guy there was nice and the service was quick. Nothing to rave about but definitely no complaints either. Will use again.

I had a mani-pedi here from being given a gift voucher. It was very pleasant and I was pleased with the polish but there was nothing that really made it stand out in terms of service. I do like the mineral makeup that they stock by Jane Iredale though.

We have been here twice in the last few weeks, the first time was a busy Friday night and we had to wait for a table but they took our number and we went upstairs to the Ivy for a drink and they called 20 minutes later to tell us our table was ready. The second time was a Wednesday night and was much quieter. They have yummy tapas served with loads of breads in a basket. The wine list is very comprehensive and while it is not the cheapest place around it is a great place for a drink and a nibble.

For starters the receptionist here is really friendly. I went in for a painful tooth and because I wanted an appointment out of business hours (which are very popular) they couldn't see me for a month, but then they called me back to say they had an appointment free up and could see me about 9 days which was great. The cost was very good for dental work and I am very pleased with the service I received from Dr Lee. They asked me if I would rather do the work over a period of time so that I could spread the cost which I thought was a really good offer.

We sometime come here for work meetings just for a change of scenery. The Turkish bread is yummy but the coffee is pretty average. On a street with many cafes all competing for your money there is nothing that really stands out about Billi's Cafe.

This is a great place to pick up your lunch during the week. I am not sure the gourmet in the name is a correct reflection of this place - it is more standard fish and chips, fresh made sandwiches and salad's type take out bar rather than a fancy restaurant. But the sandwiches are always delicious especially since you get to pick your own fillings. Very friendly staff too.

I get birthday cakes here every month for work and they are always delicious. As a nice touch they always ask if it is a special occasion and put a little Happy Birthday Sign in Chocolate on top for no changer. They also have a card where you get a stamp every time you buy a cake and you get the 11th one free.

I went in to buy an envelope and a stamp to send a local letter. The staff member suggested I buy a pre-stamped envelope and I said sure whatever (I had just moved to Australia so had no idea what a local stamp cost). Anyway, it turned out that it was $1.20 for an envelope with prepaid postage, whereas if I had bought and envelope for 40c and a stamp for 60c I would have paid less. You rely on the post office to suggest the cheapest option for postage not the more expensive one. So I was not terribly impressed and won't be rushing back here.
