One of the best places for burgers in my opinion. Everything from your standard beef-burger with cheese to swordfish steak-burgers and more. Even though it's a bit more expensive than the rest, it is well worth it.

I used to go to this cafe when it was located in Leichhardt, and when I moved to the area I couldn't believe it when I noticed it had moved with me. It's nice to know that Cafe Azzurri still does the best Calzones (Pizza pies) and the carbonara is a must-try pasta.

This place has been on Norton st for years and years, and although the food is pretty greasy it's quick and washes down well with a couple of beers. My only concern is with a chicken omelette I tried once that tasted surprisingly fishy....

We had a table of 6 for a birthday of one of our friends. The service was a bit lacking, with us having to hail our waitress every time we wanted a drink and to order. The food was beautiful, with no one going hungry or complaining about the pizzas and salads.

We have been here a few times and have never really been disappointed by the quality of the food. On the other hand, the average meal price makes eating here regularly somewhat prohibitive. Try the 'paper chicken'.

I regularly shop here for my computer parts & accessories. Has a pretty decent range of all parts, including a lot of stuff that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere. Online ordering is encouraged as if you arrive, it looks more like someone's living room than an actual shop. If you don't pre-order online, you're charged a 'handling fee' for picking up your product.
I only had a gelato whilst passing, but this place has some of the most amazing looking sundae's and desserts. It's not uncommon to see 4 or 5 people all eating from the one bowl of gelato/icecream in the centre of the table.

We ordered an assortment of burgers and fish and chips and weren't disappointed at all. The side order of chips is pretty big, however the potato scallops were pretty ordinary. Pricing is very good for the size of the meals.
Approximate cost: $5 and up
In my experience it would definitely be one of the best Thai restaurants in Newtown. I had a Thai Green Curry that tasted great. Although the menu is a bit on the expensive side compared to others in the area, it probably has the highest quality of food.

Probably the best place to get a chicken or pork roll vietnamese style! Even though there are a few in the area, this has got to be the one that stands far above the rest.
