Food was average at best on taste. that is if you got enough to taste it.

Dishes are very expensive and there are very few pieces of meat mainly vegetables. Not even enough sauce to just eat rice and sauce to fill you up. boys will need at least 2 dishes each.

will never return to eat here again.

Sounds like one to avoid, plenty of other good Thai places around. Bet this one is a Mee Grob specialist.

Thanks for the heads-up SoccerTed. Regards, Reeces

The food here is quite good, and the staff are friendly as well. I tried fried rice and some soup, which I found was really tasty! The view was quite spectacular as well. However, the food can be a little expensive, and Thai food may be cheaper to buy elsewhere, but for an awesome night out, this place it good.

I'm not so sure about this place. Their food don't taste half as good as some of 12 dollar takeaways around north shore. Pricey, pricey pricey, not much to offer in quality. Yes of course, they've got a great scenery, but that don't make your belly full. Sometimes I'm okay with expensive dishes, but they've got to be beyond certain standard.

I would not recommend this place, you can find better value and better taste elsewhere.

The food is not bad but it's quite expensive for average Thai food, you're basically just paying for the view. When I was there it was quite busy and the service was really bad. I had to wait about half an hour for my food to come out (I ordered duck curry) and then I wanted to order more rice but it took them another half an hour. By the time the rice came, my curry was already cold. The staff wasn't attentive at all. For me, it was definitely not worth it.

Hi Rinabl, unfortunately there are many businesses that choose to pay exorbitant amounts on rent which is then subsequently passed down to consumers. While one can understand (but not condone) various issues surrounding the provision of food (E.g. quality, presentation, etc) there is no excuse for inadequate customer service. Thank you kindly for the heads-up! Regards, Reeces

Had a great night out at Thai Foon restaurant with friends. The food was great and the location at Darling Harbour is excellent. We were sitting on the balcony and got a great view of the 9pm fireworks.

the coconut rice was very tasty, the view was amazing, however the prices are fairly expensive considering the porportion and the type of food you recieve. They have a very good range to choose from and their cocktails are very creative.

Approximate cost: $25

Great location and view of darling harbour. We have eaten here several times, food is good, however can be expensive. Staff were friendly and accommodating for a large groups.

The location is great. The service is okay. The food is what you expect from a typical Thai restaurant, no worse, but no better, and at the price they charge you would expect that little extra which is not delivered. On average it is almost twice the price you would normally expect to pay. If you just want Thai in a great location and don't care what you pay, then give it a try.

Approximate cost: $30

I like this Thai restaurant because it is upstairs and so it has a beautiful view of Darling Harbour. It's relaxing and the food is ok.

Approximate cost: $20

Well this is so called expensive thai food restaurant located in prime location of Darling Harbor but food in not that great. No way you can say it is authentic thai food. Spent $100 for 3 people and still not satisfied with our hunger. You know where I am going ! Not a good experience for me.

Hi VirangkumarP, having visited various Thai restaurants over the years, despite claims of authenticity, very few actually deliver. Thank you kindly for the heads-up! Reeces
