Like the ad says "Unbelievable chicken, awesome chips"! This is a great take-away (you can also eat in) an the food is always fresh. If you have a function, you can pre-order their chicken and salads in bulk. Really handy around Melbourne Cup time!

Mexican, mexican, mexican! This is a great restaurant. The food is tasty (mild or hot depending on your taste buds) and the service is great. I love the flag poles where you raise the flag if you want service at your table. Much better than yelling out and waving your hand in the air!

This is a great place to go for a night out, hang out with friends or just have a meal. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun. Chill out and have a few drinks, catch the game on the big screen or party on with your friends. Any way you look at it, All Bar Nun gets two thumbs up!

Debacle is great. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Half price pizzas on Monday and Tuesday are the best. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a good night out.

This is a great place to eat. Heaps to choose from including pizza, pasta, chicken, steak and seafood. Meals for all tastes. Service is fast and the food is always fresh.

Cockington Green is a great place to visit. Miniature villages that just seem to come to life. You can spend all of your time at the Green or have a wander through the local village shops.

If you're looking for a great place to have clothing altered or made then I recommend Etelle Design. They specialise in formal wear and do a great job of altering clothes. They are quick and they know what they're doing which gives you confidence that the end result will be just what you were after. In my case, they knew what I wanted better than I did! I was more than happy with the service they provided.

Canty's Bookshop is a great secondhand book store with a great range of used and rare books. They have heaps of titles to choose from in both fiction and non-fiction. They will also buy secondhand books for cash or credit. One of my favourites that I will keep going back to!

Tulips Cafe is a lovely little family-friendly cafe that serves great coffee and excellent food. Cakes, biscuits and slices are fresh baked every morning. Lunch menu is varied but the burgers are a favourite with most of us locals. It has an outside area for you to sit and have lunch which is great during spring and summer when the flowers are out.

This cafe is located in Belconnen Mall. It has a great range of food at reasonable prices and the meal sizes are generous. It's a great change from the standard food court style food in most shopping centres and, because it's out of the way, it's a great place to sit and chat over lunch or a coffee without having to compete with the noise of the crowds.
