I had a relatively small carpentry job- and it's often hard to get someone for a small job. Darren came when he promised, to look at the job, gave me a prompt, competitive quote - and completed the job as required.

This is a very pleasant BYO Thai restaurant. The menu is not over-extensive but the food offered is authentic and well-cooked. Entrees are around $7 and mains are between $10 and $14 mostly. The restaurant is a typical small shop turned into a restaurant but is nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere.

Approximate cost: $12

Very helpful staff. The male staff treat female customers with respect and are happy to explain how to perform simple plumbing repairs. Several times they have suggested better ways for me to complete a project even when it has meant I purchase fewer or cheaper components. Often the parts are cheaper than at bigger hardware stores.

The staff here are very helpful with your painting and renovating problems. Several times I have had my questions answered or problems solved and haven't even bought anything. This has encouraged me to reurn and buy things here next time I wanted such items.

This review is for IGA Supermarket, Glenroy VIC

This quite small supermarket has a very good range of goods. Its meat department is particularly extensive for a small grocers. It often has some quite quirky "specials"- eg crockery or table linen that seem to have come from the catering industry. Their vegetable seedlings are cheap and healthy looking.

This is an old Market that appears to have been there for many years. It has a strong European influence, probably originally Italian but now very multi-cultural. You can buy heaps of Asian and European grocery items. It has an excellent fruit and vegetable section, plus a deli, dried goods such as nuts etc, and also fresh bread daily. The freezer section has loads of Asian and continental specialities- eg fresh fetta, Greek yoghurt, tofu, frozen pasta and frozen "cook-at-home" croissants - and much more!
