We've been going here for years and the food and service are just great. The staff are knowledgeable and the menu is always interesting. Food is delicious and the portions are reasonable. Small restaurant provides an intimate setting.
This Woolworths has to be one of the busiest in Brisbane. This means that they have a pretty good range, but that the store is always packed with people - even late at night.
This is possibly the craziest Chinese eatery in the Valley - and I don't mean crazy in a bad way.
The restaurant is in a very large space which also hosts arcade games, pool tables and an Internet cafe. The food is cheap, authentic and is an excellent casual eat on a late night out - these guys seem to serve food up until about midnight.
BYO alcohol or buy big bottles of Chinese beer there.
Approximate cost: $14
There is very little to fault about this restaurant, the food is excellent, the wine list is amazing, the decor is beautiful and the service is of a very high standard. So popular that they run two sittings every night they are open and you should book ahead to avoid disappointment. One of the best fine dining restaurants in Brisbane, no doubt.
Cheap, delicious Chinese and Malaysian food. Good quality, quick eat. The service is not the friendliest, but the food makes up for it. A good range of dishes on offer, never disappointing. There is also a dessert and juice / tea bar attached to the eatery.
Approximate cost: $13
The Laksas here are good and authentic, with the option to add as much spice as you want. The rest of the food, especially the buffet, is pretty ordinary and fried... but people seem to like it.
Approximate cost: $12
Friendly service and advice on choosing the correct computer parts. Newly opened shop with competitive pricing and a good range, staff are well informed and helpful - which is absolutely necessary with this type of product. They show available stock on their website, which is handy too.
This is my regular bottle shop for a reason. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have an excellent range of beers, especially imports, at pretty competitive prices. Good quality wines and spirits as well. They also have a very good rewards program.
In the many years that I've been eating here I have never had a bad meal. They have a range of dishes, including a vegetarian menu. If you like it spicy, you won't be disappointed.
A casual alfresco eat with some friends, and some awesome pizzas. The service is pretty relaxed too, but that's not really a negative, that's just the sort of place that it is.
