Recently we have had two separate dealings with The Good Guys in Cannington. Both have been good experiences! The first involved our new vacuum cleaner. A screw (something so simple) came loose in the handle and it needed to be fixed as it wasn't handyman accessible. The appliance was returned promptly and without fuss! The second involved computer hardware that was not deemed faulty, but wasn't working either. The staff at The Good Guys were great advocates on my behalf and were able to get the manufacturer to authorise a return on the item. We were very happy.

We upgraded our hardware for the internet and had a lot of difficulty spanning 2 months with regard to getting it configured correctly. Although the issue ultimately was not their responsibility to fix (as it was hardware they had not supplied) they went above and beyond to assist me. I had several very long tech support calls with very nice helpful people who seemed to genuinely want to solve my issues and have me happily surfing the net and using their VOIP services. Many of these calls were made at their expense too as I was only able to use my mobile phone while my home phone was out of order due to the configuration problems. This saved me a lot of additional expense which I am very grateful for.

The Global Customer Service Centre is a complete joke! I was forced to call them several times in an atempt to get our new modem/router and Analogue Telephone Adaptor configured correctly so that we could use our telephone on our Naked Broadband Service. The service centre is staffed by non-native English speakers and it took a great deal of clear, concise, patient speaking to convey the problem and then extremely good listening skills to understand the suggested resolution of the issues. More than once (it took 2 months to sort out the problem - by sending the equipment back and getting a refund! Which I am grateful for.) I was forced to request a supervisor with better English language skills. One unfortunate call lasted half an hour and we only managed to convey what the problem was! This instance I was told to expect a return phone call from someone more highly trained in the area in which I was having difficulty, but that call never came. Completely hopeless telephone service.

The quality and apprearance of the products themselves appears to be good. The guarantee is also commendable. But the back up service leaves a lot to be desired.
