I come here for a breakfast and lunch. They serve the best eggs benedict. Their toast taste amazing and they're thick slices. Nice little size corner cafe with perfect sunlight into the windows. Relaxed atmosphere, enjoy a cuppa and read the papers Service is lovely too.
Ling Nam serve their famous pipis in xo sauce with chinese donuts.... sooo good! They do a magnificent mud crab in xo sauce or ginger and spring onion on a bed of noodles. Food is top notch. Place is always busy, especially towards the weekend and its open till 3am! So if you want Chinese and your in the city, head to chinatown to Ling Nam.
Susi is the hairdresser and owner here. She does a superb cut and colour. Full colour cost $70. Cheaper then most places. Very friendly and will work with you to get the look you want and tell you what works, what doesn't.
This restuarant has just newly opened at The Glen. We ordered 3 main dishes and found ourselves waiting for what seemed like forever for our food to arrive. Apart from the timing of dishes served, the food was to high standards. Delicious, tasty and well presented. Check out their the website, they also have 2 restaurants based in the city on Russell st and Swanston st.
I've been to this restaurant many times since it first open and the standard is still at its best. Dinner is $55 all you can eat asian buffet serving fresh seafood (natural oysters, crab, king prawns, mussels) hot platters (rice, stir fry, curries, variety of soup, congee) Dont miss the peking duck... supurb! There are yum cha dishes, Japanese Sushi Bar (freshly cut and served) Salad Bar, ohhh and the desert bar is to die for. They have such a variety of mini cakes, creme caramel, ice cream. Must book during the weekend as they do get busy. Decor is very spacious and lovely. Check out their website.
Uncle Luigis Pizza make the perfect base crust. It's not oily, too thick or thin at the base. The topping is fresh and always hot even on delivery. Guarantee when you open the cardboard box you will love the smell and look of the pizza. I definitely recommend this pizza place!
This little corner shop is often busy with take-away, but not often do people eat-in. They have a huge board with over 20 noodle dishes on the menu most of which I've tried or colleagues have said are very delicious. The sauce is yummo! I do recommend the stir fried Udon Noodle or the Teriyaki Chicken Noodle. Very tasty. They also have soup noodle dishes like Laksa. Customer service is quick and friendly.
Approximate cost: $9.50
