The Railway Hotel is THE BOMB! The best way to describe it. It's about a 20 minute drive out of town, but worth the trip. We recently got the family out to try it & they're all planning to make the trip out again. There's heaps of different mains to choose from, from pastas & seafood, to steaks & pizzas. There's a good selection of chicken & the pork belly is to die for. Usual sides, chips, vegetables or salad. There's a kids corner with a tv & DVDs, or a playground outside which has a camera & you can watch them on a projector from inside the restaurant. It can get really busy so sometimes you may have to wait 35 - 40 minutes for your meal & they struggle with large groups to get the meals out at the same time, but the food & staff make up for it. Overall, one of the best pub meals you will find, worth the trip!

I've never been to The Coffee Club for dinner, only lunch & breakfast. The breakfast menu is quite large & is all day, so you can get your bacon & egg fix at 2pm if you want! Breakfast options include big breakfast (mushrooms, steak, sausages, tomato, bacon, eggs & toast) classic bacon & eggs (always a winner) pancakes (pre-cooked, then microwaved but still yummy!) muesli & yoghurt (for the health conscious) & heaps more. There's an all day dining menu & the best thing off there has to be the Chicken burger (swap the barbeque sauce for herb aioli, you can thank me later!). Staff are always pleasant & wanting to help out, can take a bit of time to get them to you though. Overall, a great place to grab a bite to eat.

The food at the Austral never disappoints. The Austral is predominately known for it's steak, but I can vouch for the other options as I'm not a steak eater! All meals are a very generous size & you can choose whether you want chips or a baked potato & vegetables or salad. They have kids meals but have recently gotten rid of their kids rooms, bit of a downside. The restaurant side can be a little expensive for some, the bar has a cheaper lunch time menu (mostly burgers & sandwiches, around the $12 - $16 mark) & you can take your children on that side as well. Overall always a good meal with friendly staff.
