As there are only 5 big Supermarkets in Melton, Safeway seems to stock most of the things that the other ones don't. The store is quite clean, the Staff are quick to respond to the needs of their Customer's and Melton is in the area of their Home Delivery service.
We've been here a few times - m,y Husband is a Member. The atmosphere is friendly, the meals are good value and the place is clean. You definitely get more value if you are a member as you get sent a Member's booklet ever month outlining exclusive offers Membership is cheap.

I have dealt with Lisa's Lacies for over 4 years now. They are fantastic. I order most of my stuff on line however, when I have been into their store, they have been helpful and they have done anything they can to help me. They are fantastic ladies who have seen it all before! I am so comfortable there. Their products make me feel like a Princess.
Approximate cost: $Depends on what yoj purchase.
We've been here a few times and have enjoyed our meals each time. The service has been prompt and the Staff have been friendly and efficient. The place has a homely feel to it. I love the Fireplace. They make the BEST cottage fries. They are a bit pricey but, if you know what to pick, you get value for money.

This is my regular Bakery and I go here everyday to get our bread. They sell the best cheese and vegemite scrolls and they have a great range of cakes and drinks also. They changed owners about a year ago and from my experience, the standard has improved. Their pies and sausage rolls are delicious.
I have been here many times and find them to be a little bit pricey but, they certainly know what they're doing. I have had my hair layered, colored, foiled, put up, straightened - anything you can think of! The girls' have always been polite and friendly and make me a Coffee upon arrival. They used to offer waxing. Not sure if they are bringing that back in or not...

We've been going to the Waves for a few years now. The venue is very clean and well organized. I have 4 Children who I bring with me. I feel safe with the level of supervision that the life guards give. The Waves come on every half an hour or so during the Weekend and the kids love it. They also have a spa and sauna in the 'wet area' which is open to the public along with the hydrotherapy pool. There is also a well stocked Cafe. They also do Birthday Parties which are fantastic. They have a gym there too which I have never used.
Approximate cost: $16 per family
I love buying things from Deals Direct. They certainly have a lot of great specials and a wide range of items to purchase. I have bought many items from them ranging from baby gates to CD players - all have met my expectations. I think I love them more than my Credit Card does though :)
Melton Library is fantastic! They have a great range of books available considering the fact they are smaller than some libraries that I have been to. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. They have a WONDERFUL Children's section with a lot of books for them to choose from including an exclusive Cardboard book section for babies! They have a Child reading group and also nights where they discuss books and other topics. They have Computers for family history research as well as Computers dedicated to fee internet access (this needs to be booked). They are fantastic!
Approximate cost: $Free - unless you bring your books back late!
This is where we have been getting our Pizza from recently and they are fantastic. They always use fresh produce - you can tell. The service is very prompt and the staff are always friendly. I usually phone ahead to avoid waiting in line. They can get very busy!
