I used to like this place when I was younger but I don't think it's very well suited to the late 20's market. I think it is probably a better place to go when you are between 18-24 but after that it seems a bit tacky. There is often broken glass on the dance floor, and it can be hard to find a seat, the alcohol is pretty low quality as well. The food is ok but is pretty over priced for what is essentially basic bar food.

This is a good place to go out with friends. It can get very crowded upstairs on Friday and Saturday nights where there is more of a dance floor and a dj but you can still usually find seats down stairs when you want to find somewhere to relax and unwind a bit more. Prices are typical Sydney prices and cocktails are ok. The chicken wings are a big hit after a few drinks!

The food here is really good. The sushi is fresh and they have a good variety of different seafood centered sushi. This is probably not a good sushi place to go if you don't like fish as they don't really have chicken or beef sushi. If you do like seafood though it is definitely one of the better sushi trains.

The service is average and the prices are slightly higher than the usual but that is because the food is fresher and more decadent. You will need to wait a while to get a seat unless you turn up the second the restaurant opens.

YUM! Max Brenner is always good for chocolate lovers. The tutti frutti waffles are really good. This particular Max Brenner is just as good as the rest!

This is one of those places which have a million options in every type of meat or vegetable you could imagine. It does a whole lot of things but I haven't found a dish which I have loved.

This is just an average run of the mill sushi train. The food is ok but nothing special. Service is good but again just as you'd expect and nothing special. It is often busy though being the only real sushi train in newtown and I"m not sure it is worth a long wait. There are other japanese restaurants near by which are much better.

I like this place, great for a good catch up with the girls. The tasting plates are really good value and the food is very fresh.

The gelato is good.. just as you would expect at a place like this, the prices are the same as everywhere else. The service was great though, they were very friendly.

Mamak is yummy! The roti chennai with accompanying curry sauces are really good. The service is really fast, you order one minute and the next minute your meals are in front of you. It is a really busy place though and you generally have to line up for a while unless you come the second it opens.

Food is fast, tasty, and really good value. We usually just get a couple of vegetable and meat platters to share between us and we are always full at the end of a meal. The felafel's are nice and light and moist, a must have if you go here!
