On our continual search for nice fish and chips we have happily stopped searching after finding this place - yay!

The chips are always crisp and perfectly done, the fish nice and plump (boy have we had some weird fish at other places!) The service cheerful even when busy. I never feel rushed if I decide to read the menu and have a think!

I had almost given up on fish and chips after trying 5 - 6 different other places over the years and I got a tip off about this one. So glad!! Don't panic if it looks busy, they are fast and polite and the wait won't feel long at all.

What a wonderful find! This place is the best of both worlds: a quality shop that you can walk into and have a really good look at the toys, get advice and find things you didn't even think of; and an online presence that allows you to shop from home. I haven't needed that, but have had friends in the country that are rapt to hear of a top quality toy shop that will deliver to them. I walked in one day to buy a present for kid's birthday party and can't believe how many times I've gone back. It's a relief to see lots of wooden toys, beautifully crafted imaginative play and really sturdy stuff. I could go crazy in there, but try to just walk away with a few things ... but I keep going back! This is now my number 1 place for kids gifts and I am now a huge fan. The owners are so nice and helpful. They make you feel really welcome to poke around as long as you want. After one too many bad experiences with the big stores (zero stock of what you want ring a bell to you too? arrgh!) and their rows and rows of plastic junk I am so happy to keep going back here instead. The first time I walked in I asked if they had a certain toy in stock (mini mandalas). They hadn't but a week later told me they had got them in! Even better when I returned the selection was great and I stocked up on a few. This is better than I could have hoped for. I also really appreciate their big range of prices. Top quality big ticket items right down to toys my daughter can buy with her pocket money (our fave pick: $5 pocket kite) I'll be back for Christmas!
