This is one of those cafes out in the country side - it's really peaceful and quiet. The decors are amazing. The menu for breakfast and lunch looks amazing and they even have high tea (prior booking is required). A dish definitely worth returning for is the confit duck. The meat just falls of the bone and melts in the mouth. It's definitely worth the travel and the cafe is next to an equestrian centre.

This pub is great if you are a student. There is reasonably priced drinks and food. The atmosphere is good and doesn't give you that run down feeling. They also have daily specials. Chicken schnitzel and beer is on Wednesday and is my favourite.

This restaurant is very funky in my opinion. It has the outdoor sitting that can mimic the European atmosphere with all their outside decor and thick wooden table and chairs. They also have a combination of pub and restaurant area which is really nice. BUT the highlight is the distillery area and how the place sells schnapps. They have so many yummy flavours to choose from and the best part is, you can taste them before you buy them. For those chilly fans, there is a really spicy flavour (I forgot the name), but the all time favourite is butter scotch.

This is a great Japanese restaurant. It's suppose to be a sister of the Iori restaurant. Coo is cheaper than Iori though. For me, the decor and atmosphere is equally matched. The staff are very friendly. If you think of having a budget night, but still want yummy Japanese food, then Coo is the restaurant to go to.

Just what you expect from a small grocery store - friendly staff, fresh products and affordable prices. I like buying avocados from here - they are generally cheaper than Coles and Woolworths and there is a good chance that it is actually ripe :)

This is a great place for working out and has most of the common facilities such as gym, basketball, tennis, squash court. I think it is well priced and if you are an ANU student, you get a discount. There is plenty of parking and the staff are quite friendly and willing to help. The price quoted below is for hiring a squash court only.

There is so many yummy chocolate dishes. Two of my personal favourite includes chocolate fondue for two and banana split. Both of these dishes can be shared between two. They also have a gift area where you can buy chocolates and coffee and cold drinks cups

You can buy or hire all kinds of ski stuff. We went to this place to hire our some car chains - the service was good and they seem to reasonably know their stuff.

We stayed here overnight for our skiing trip. The place is extremely comfortable - the place has detached units. The place we stayed at had heat towel racks and floors - that was awesome. It even had a fireplace that ran on ethanol and bbq facility on the balcony. The place is really spacious and the room is really cosy

It is an extremely busy restaurant - try not to go between peak hour (12-2), otherwise be prepared not to get a seat. There is a wide variety of food on the menu and the serving is quite large for the burgers and nachos. You can probably share between two of you. The view is amazing if you can get a window seat.
