This place scream raspberries, from fresh and frozen berries, to chocolate coated berries, raspberry scented socks and even alcohol. You can dine in at the onsite cafe overlooking the most peaceful beautiful garden (of course most of the menu is raspberry inspired)

This review is for The Cherry Shed, Latrobe TAS

I come from a family who loves cherries, we hang out all year waiting for cherry season, this place is amazing well worth the almost hour drive from our home. During cherry season you can purchase quality fresh cherries, the staff are constantly sorting through the cherries and sorting into premium, normal and seconds ( although in my mind the seconds are still fantastic- way better quality than the supermarkets) Despite the name you will also find fresh raspberries, the ice-cream and sorbets are delicious and they offer many other cherry inspired items

This store is amazing, they have used every available piece of space to maximise what they can display, the building itself has character and as you weave your way through each room you you are exposed to another style of character. Each room is specifically tailored to cater for a particular item from dolls, bears, dress ups to young children and teens.
I personally find the store too crowded, with expensive antiques throughout the whole store each time you take a step back or around a corner you fear knocking something over

This review is for House of Anvers, Latrobe TAS

House of Anvers is easy to miss driving by but definately worth stopping in for a look, sample and purchase. I love that house of Anvers is set up so you can try before you buy, the chocolates and fudges are devine and my husband adores their choc orange. This is not a place where you could easily spend a whole day but most definately worth stopping for

This review is for Ye Olde Greengrocer, Launceston TAS

Located between the CBD and the local public hospital parking can be a little difficult to access this location. The produce is always fresh and staff are often seen to be sorting through the fruit and veg removing less desirable items. Im often able to find less common fruit at this location which is fantastic. Staff are friendly but prices arent amazingly competative

This review is for House Of Spuds, Prospect TAS

verified email - 11 Nov 2013

I am the first to admit to having a spud addiction and I absolutely adore jacket spuds but I have been disappointed with the quaility of the spuds the last 2 visits. The menu itself seems to cater for most preferences, how ever the quality of the ingredients does not seem as fresh as i would like, they are often pre-prepared and sit longer periods of time. The store itself is always presented well and clean

Fluers is a beautiful store, with friendly staff that are more than happy to accomodate your needs where approriate. Plenty of free parking outside the store make looking around easier. They have made many beautiful arrangements for us over the years from wedding, valentines Day and congratulations. They also stock a larger selection of gift ware.

This review is for Aussie Discount Meats, Kings Meadows TAS

The quality of meats has always been exceptional, the meat is fresh and full of flavor. I dont find the staff to be amazing at customer service, the store is always clean and the staff are pleasant enough once reaching the register but rarely aknowledge you otherwise. The one thing I personally dont like about the Kings Meadows location is the fact alot of the meat is pre-packaged (like you see on the shelves of a supermarket)

This review is for Young's Vegie Shed, Launceston TAS

verified email - 29 Oct 2013

Young's offers a wide variety of freshly sourced local products along with fresh products from the mainland. A lot of fresh seasonal products are cheaper than the supermarkets but not always. It pays to check weekly sales in catalogues first. The quality of the fruit and veg is constantly great quality. The staff are always friendly and are always checking on the quality of the produce.

This review is for The Pasta Merchant Restaurant, Launceston TAS

verified email - 25 Oct 2013

The quality of the pasta is exceptional, by far the best take away pasta option in Launceston, how ever the prices are a little on the high side. This is only an ocassional lunch treat as I can often get something more filling cheaper else where
