This place is great, been going here for over a year, relaxed atmosphere, friendly instructors who cater for all levels, lots of different classes to choose from, good times, make a booking now...

I went to these guys after trying several other places when my oven element blew, and several of he cooktop elements played up. One of the other places assured me that the problem lay with the elements themselves and required replacing. When I went to Hunter Valley Whitegoods they asked me what the problem was and immediately told me it was with the switches and not the element (a cheaper fix).
They were also cheaper compared to the other places I tried, and they also went through how to change them with me.
The ladies were not only extremely helpful they were also extremely nice, and willing to have a chat.
The service and expertise was great, and I'm very glad I found this shop. They not only sell spares but whitegoods as well, and service them too.
I would highly recommend these guys for sales, service and repairs. Very happy, and the stove is working perfectly too.

I emailed these guys for a quote on replacing my roof, and had a call back early the next day. We organised a time that suited me, and Chad arrived dead on time. While they weren't the cheapest quote we got, they certainly weren't the most expensive. Of all the quotes we got, Chad was the only one who listened to everything we wanted, and got up on the roof and took proper measurements. One bloke only measured the dimensions of the house on the ground, not factoring in that we have a multifaceted roof, and another bloke didn't even get out of his car, but sent a quote anyway.
Chad not only asked what we wanted, he took the time to hand deliver the quote to us the next day, and didn't seem to mind when I rang him in the evening to ask a question.
We decided to go ahead, and again, they turned up right on the agreed time and got straight down to work. They were quick and efficient, and kept me up to date with what they were doing. They even showed where they improved the structure to stop birds getting in.
Three day after starting they were done, and the yard was cleaned up so you wouldn't even know they had been there. Most importantly, the roof looks great. Very happy with the work AND the customer service. While these guys are young, they know what they are doing and know how to make the customer feel important.
I can highly recommend these guys, they are fast, efficient and friendly. VERY HAPPY, well done Chad and Craig.

Had a couple of connections put into the home, as well as a wall mount into a brick wall. Arrived when they said they would, asked what we wanted and gave a quote before doing anything. They were friendly and polite, and got the work done quickly and efficiently, at a good price.
Very happy, will be dealing with these guys again next time I need their expertise.

My computer needed work. They were very friendly, but extremely slow. It took almost 2 weeks just to have it looked at, and it was 2 weeks by the time it was done, and I'm not sure if it is actually working properly after all that. Definitely won't be going back. Disappointing after the service I'm used to at my previous computer shop, which was 1st class.

Recently started working in Salamander Bay and needed a mechanic to work on my car while I worked. These guys are great. The customer service is top class, the work they do is really good, and unlike a lot of mechanics, they don't charge too much. They ring if something unexpected comes up to make sure you want them to repair it, and they drop me at work, and then drop the car off to me when they're done.
Highly recommend these guys.

Don't let the outside of this place put you off, as it did me for many years. It's right on the highway, it looks run down and dilapidated, and there's always a sign out front offering Prawn Rolls. However, truckies always stop there, and they know their fast food, and once you go inside, you will experience the best hamburger this side of heaven. I always get the works, and my wife and son get a cheeseburger, and Sandy's never disappoints. The chips and scallops are pretty good too.
Best to ring ahead with your order, they're almost always busy.

We took our animals here for years, and while the service was pretty good, the pricing was a bit over the top, and the animal care so-so.
However, when treating our cat, they completely dropped the ball. During a normal check up, they diagnosed kidney disease, which meant an expensive diet (purchased from them, of course) that she absolutely refused to eat. Now before the check up she had lost a little weight, and was less active than before, but she was also 11 years old, which is getting on a bit for a cat. However, a week after her "treatment" began, she had lost so much weight she couldn't hold herself up, and pooed all over herself, without the energy to clean herself properly. We were left with no choice but to put her to sleep.
We will never go back to this clinic, and I wold recommend the clinic up the road instead, which is better value and the service is better.

We recently switched here from another local vet, and the difference is amazing. All the girls are just wonderful, with no question too stupid and they always make time to offer advice, either over the phone or if you just drop in.
My wife took our dog to see the male vet, who she said was a bit abrupt, but we have since seen Fiona who was absolutely lovely.
They also seem a little cheaper than the other vet, and offer a better guarantee for their service.
Highly recommended.

This place isn't bad, they are certainly not the cheapest out there, but they do have a good range of products, from pet and farm animal needs to things for the garden.
They are a good place for some of the more unusual pet needs, my son goes there for crickets for his frogs, and they're usually pretty fresh.
The service is usually pretty good as well, though they do have off days sometimes.
On the whole pretty good.
