This review is for Old Bus Depot Markets In Canberra, Kingston ACT

I absolutely LOVE the markets! As others have said, yes, it may seem to be on the expensive side, but the quality of everything on the food side is fantastic. The juice stand is fabulous, although if you're late, they do tend to run out!

The markets have some of the friendliest farmers I have ever met. They even educate me on how to pick out good honey - and by golly, were they good!

Favourite picks on the food side: Turkish dips, macaroons (near the entrance) and honey.

The craft side of things, I am not a great judge on the quality of products there. However, I love how there are so many unique things available. This christmas past, I managed to pick up a wonderful kids' hamper in one of the stalls as well as some hand made wooden toys for the boys. There's also a number of antique stalls that I think shouldn't be missed! have fun :)

This review is for Essential Ingredient, Kingston ACT

As someone else has mentioned, Essential Ingredient is a hard shop to walk past. On display, the last time I went, were matching red kitchenware - such as a kitchenaid mixer, attachments and le creuset stuff.

Looking through the items available, it is easy to feel that the price was a little on the high side. Nevertheless, I managed to grab a fantastic price for Kitchenaid Mixer that was cheaper than most shops I have went to.

They also sell some awesome hard to find Persian fairy floss, albeit at a price as well.

I have always been attended to when I go into the shop, even when they were busy with the christmas crowd. That said, there's nothing spectacular about the staffs, just like any other retail staffs, which is not a bad thing :)
