Quite possibly the best quality fish & chips in Hobart. Fish Frenzy has an understated, functional atmosphere yet is still a cut above your average fish & chip shop. However, it's not cheap due to the location on the pier although that certainly does provide a lot of the ambience. Viewing life on the pier through the large windows is just another benefit! I have sampled the fish and chips and also the seafood platter, both were very tasty and not greasy. Highly recommended for the food quality.
Approximate cost: $18
Huge pet store with everything you could want but is unfortunately prohibitively expensive compared to Pet Warehouse for instance.
This store appears to have closed now and been taken over by Petbarn who are extremely expensive.
Small, dirty and dingy store. Minimal toppings on pizzas and not tasty at all. Beware of "offers" as you get even less toppings then.
Good value pizza with great flavour. New pizza flavours every so often so doesn't get boring. The best of the "chain" pizza places.
2 large pizzas, garlic bread & 1.25L drink for $26.90. Pizzas have good flavour and plenty of topping. Garlic bread was average. Dingy-looking but appears to be clean.
Good quality and cheap fruit & veg. Sometimes the milk fridges are a bit smelly. Meat quality is lacking. Shelves are commonly poorly stocked for some reason. reasonable queues.
A not for profit community vet. Very reasonably priced, helpful staff do a great job. Plenty of parking at the rear.
Helpful vets and staff, always happy to help with after-hours emergencies. I believe these are some of the best vets in Hobart.
Wonderfully caring vets and (female) receptionists. Always friendly and ready to help - even if you just have a query.
