Simply a tasteful cake! Pretty and delicious! I had Kel's Cake for my surprised baby shower; first impression ..GORGEOUS!!..It was elegant, sweet and complete with all the lovely details. I couldn't bring myself to cutting it, but the little princess in my tummy just couldn't wait to try, so we decided to cut it the next day. Honestly I wasn't sure of how it would taste at first, as I had so many bad experiences with 'pretty cakes' that taste ...emm...ugly.. BUT this time the cake just made my day!! It was so moist, dense, rich just how I like it (it was a chocolate cake by the way.) My husband not only enjoyed the cake itself, he actually liked the sugar coating outside! My mother-in-law, who is a baker herself kept saying that it tasted so good because its fresh and used all quality ingredients. That must be the key, combined with Eska's attention to detail..It was one of the best cakes I've ever tasted and of course the most beautiful one I must say.
