Elena is a life-saver and a miracle-worker! I was having an extremely difficult time trimming Brownie's claws because she gets angry whenever I try. Even though it was a small job, Elena kindly visited our home to help us out. She was very calm and patient with our angry kitty and did the job quickly and efficiently. You can tell she loves cats and therefore knows how to handle cats and treat them well during the grooming session. Overall, I'm very happy with the friendly service Elena provided. I will definitely be a repeat customer from now on, and would highly recommend her to all other cat-parents :)

My car was sent to Fernglen Panels by my insurance company to fix some extensive damage. It came back in perfect condition (they even cleaned the inside), and the person i was liaising with at Fernglen (Jo) was lovely and always kept me up to date with regular phone calls. From what i can see, they seem to be a small family-run business but the premises were very clean and tidy, and they seem to be very organised and professional. All the staff members were friendly and greeted customers with a smile. No complaints at all, and i would gladly take my car back to Fernglen Panels again if it ever needed repairs in the future.

Having been to many steamboat restaurants in Melbourne, we weren't expecting much from Gold Leaf, however we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and fresh steamboat ingredients. Unlike other steamboat restaurants in the CBD, this restaurant was very clean, it was only $23.80 for an all-you-can-eat lunch (includes seafood), and we each got our own steamboat pot with a broth of our choice. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, self-serve condiments, and the homemade meatballs were delicious. The staff were very attentive, and were very quick to bring us food and tea whenever we ordered more. Dinner is a bit more expensive at $38, so i believe lunch is better value. Thankyou Gold Leaf BBQ for the great experience, we will definitely be back again :)

This review is for Going to the Dogs, Richmond VIC

I was looking after a friend's 2 small dogs whilst he was on holidays, and they had gotten fairly dirty and smelly towards the end of their stay. I wasn't going to attempt to wash them myself because these dogs were extremely hyperactive.

I took the dogs to Going to the Dogs, and was advised to leave them there for the day and then pick them up after work.

When i picked them up, i could not believe how clean the dogs were. I had always thought one of the dogs had an off-white / grey snout, but when i picked him up, the snout was clean and was actually a pure white colour. They didn't smell at all, and they also got their ears cleaned and toenails trimmed. The dogs also didn't look upset or distressed at all, so i believe the dog-groomers have treated them well whilst i was away.

I would highly recommend Going to the Dogs, as they were efficient, the price was as quoted, and they did a great job at cleaning the dogs. The place may look simple, but i like that they're no-fuss and don't have fancy extras that you would have to pay more for.

If i ever get my own dogs, i would definitely bring them here to be groomed.

I love this place! No matter how busy or packed they are, we've always been able to get a table here straight away even without a booking. The waiters are quick to take your order, and the food comes out even quicker. We usually come here if we have a craving for inexpensive pasta. Not only is the pasta delicious, but they are also very generous with the serving size :) This place is also family friendly, and the atmosphere is loud and cheerful. Love it!

This review is for Achelya, Docklands VIC

Since i'm not familiar with middle eastern food, i can't really judge or comment on whether Achelya's food is authentic or not. We ordered the Dip Platter for Two, a lamb iskender, and a Mixed Grill to share. All the dishes were quite tasty, and i especially liked the chicken. However the lamb meat was strange and had a 'bouncy' texture to it. Since we ordered the lamb iskender as well as the mixed grill (which also had the lamb in it), we had a lot of bouncy lamb to go thru.

It was also very hard to get the wait staff's attention despite the place being not too full or busy.

However i've walked past this place many times on Saturday nights, and they do have some awesome and lively entertainment with a turkish band and belly dancers (it's especially funny when the belly dancers get customers to dance with them). So if you don't mind waiting a while for service and for your food to come out, then Achelya is worth checking out on Saturday nights.

This review is for Roll'd, Melbourne VIC

Roll'd not only serves delicious and affordable vietnamese food, they also provide excellent customer service. I've pre-ordered from Roll'd a few times, and they have always provided me with quick and friendly service. A mistake was made with one of the orders, and Roll'd not only admitted to the mistake, they also offered us an incentive to visit again, and were appreciative of us providing feedback as they wanted to improve their service to the customers. I was amazed by their humble nature, as it's rare to see businesses show this much appreciation and respect towards their customers. Thank You Roll'd for the delicious food and wonderful service :) I can see myself eating at Roll'd for a very long time to come!

This review is for Belluccio, Brunswick VIC

verified email - 01 Feb 2012

Belluccio love dressing celebrities, but once a commoner walks in with a deals voucher to get a customised dress made, their attitude quickly changes. If you see the belluccio deals voucher, don't buy it based on their self-loving Facebook page. Trust the reviews and be warned.

The staff are impatient, unhelpful and rude. The final dress they give you will not be made to measurement, will not be the material you've requested, will come to you 5 months later than the promised delivery date, and is definitely not worth the $150 value of the voucher ("to the value of $400!" says the voucher). The voucher will also not tell you that your customised dress must be based on one of the limited number of existing dresses they already have in the shop. And these existing dresses that you can choose from are old-fashioned and gaudy, and not as classy and elegant as their Facebook page makes them out to be. You will get the shock of your life when you go into their shop to see what they're really offering for your voucher.

Go to this shop if you want to be treated like dirt and if you want to dress like an old gaudy chandelier at your next formal event. You'll be sure to wow the crowds looking like you were dressed by a monkey.
