It is a cheap option Thai food but not less authentic at all. It is simply just less in the look but more in the taste. It is quite busy most of the time but the wait is generally not very long. It has the feel of fast food style restaurants, but the service is still relatively good.
Approximate cost: $7
It is one of the popular Vietnamese by Western people but not among Vietnamese community because the food is not authentic enough and culturally expected. The portion is small and the cost is rather dear.

This is one of very few Vegetarian restaurant we can find in the whole greater Sydney areas. It is quite popular since it it generally pretty full during lunch and dinner time.
This is one of the most popular Chinese restaurants in Chinatown for Morning Yam Cha or fine dining dinners. The food is not out standing but better than many. Service is generally good in comparison with other Chinese restaurants.
This is one of the best know Vietnamese restaurants for Vietnamese popular noodle soup "Pho". It is, however, not recommended by some people for there commercial style of service. That make the restaurant and the customers not as close as many other family style restaurants.
Approximate cost: $15
This restaurant is a great place for lunches and dinners. They serve a good range of wood fire pizzas and few others dishes as well. It is located in front of the lake, good interior design, and the breezy and open environment make the restaurant quite busy at nights.
Approximate cost: $20
Because the restaurant is located in front of the lake, it has a nice breezy atmosphere to the restaurant. However, sometimes it could give the bad sewage smell.

This Indonesian restaurant is best known for their grilled chicken with hot and spicy marinated sauce. It is really good and reasonably cheap, worth a visit.

The coffee is really good here. It is always extremely busy during morning, lunch time and also afternoon. Sometimes I have to wait for nearly an hour for a latte. The other bad thing is they don't open on weekends.
This is great place to be. The range of beers was crazy. The restaurant has the ambient of old European castle with large space and high ceiling but still gives the cozy feel.
