The ambience of this place is fantastic, as you sit overlooking the Quay and Sydney Harbour. Service was superlative. The cost of meals and drinks is not cheap, but for special occasions this is a great place to come. The flavours in the food were yummo!!! I highly recommend the seafood platter for two. Not sure how they cooked the prawns but they were scrumptious. And the swordfish steak was cooked to perfection. We also had a side of salad with tomato,
buffalo mozzarella, pesto, aged balsamic and extra virgin oil. Without exaggeration this is the best pesto I've had in long time. I think the serving could have been larger, because we were left wanting more. My only criticism of this place is the price of drinks - $15 a glass of wine - but nowadays this is almost to be expected of restaurants.

This is a lovely spot to come to for an early morning breakfast. The view is marvellous and you don't get the same hustle and bustle you find at places like Bondi. I can guarantee you will not be hungry after having their Ultimate Breakfast. :-) Their freshly made juices are quite nice too (try the apple carrot mint and ginger). I also find it easier to park here than places like Bondi and Coogee. The only unfortunate thing with this place, is that they don't open for dinner. :-(

This is a great place to come after a walk at Centennial Park, which is what we did. The sandwiches and rolls are quite nice, but next time I visit, I will be trying the Szechuan beef salad, which looked great and which another customer recommended. The coffee was superlative. They use a boutique designer brand called Vella Nero. Without exaggeration, it was probably the best mocca I've had in a long time.

What a fabulous shop to take your lady. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. They have an amazing range of semi-precious stones, silver and costume jewellery. But they also have clothing (Australian and imported) and some rather unique gifts. I've been into a lot of jewellery stores with my with wife but a lot tend to sell the same sort of stuff. I saw so many different and beautiful pieces in this store. Definitely worth a Sunday afternoon browse.

Lovely Irish pub atmosphere (and Irish staff). We just came here for a quick meal. Both of us had the Dad's shepherd's pie. I asked the waitress if it would be ample or if we needed an entree. Boy, was it ample. :-) Very glad I didn't order the entree. The meal was delicious, much as I would expect of a shepherd's pie - hearty and filling. And goes down really well with a guinness.

This review is for Chao Praya Thai Restaurant, Randwick NSW

We only tried a main meal each here. The flavours were wonderful. I had chicken with green (spinach) noodles in a peanut sauce and my missus had mixed seafood stir-fried in oyster sauce. Something we've noted with a lot of thai restaurants - the amount of seafood they provide is not exactly adequate. In this case 2 pieces of prawn, 2 fish sticks and 2 mussels. In contrast, I got plenty of chicken in my noodles. And yet the mixed seafood dish was more pricey than it's chicken counterpart, so I think they could be a little more generous with their servings. As I said, this is not an issue with just this Thai restaurant - we've noticed it at many other Thai places. Overall, the service and food was good here.

I was referred to ChooseWell from my yoga teacher, and we were not disappointed. They were able to find us an excellent alternative to our existing health fund - cheaper premiums and a greater return on our claims. And the whole thing was arranged over the phone in 20-30 minutes. The staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Mustafa.

Driven and walked past this place so many times and we finally got to try it out. A lovely ambience in the restaurant and nice for those romantic dinners - the only thing missing was a piano bar, but I'm told they have entertainment on Sunday evenings.
For the main I had involtini di pollo (chicken) stuffed with pancetta and spinach in a tomato sauce, with olive mash. My missus had lamb shank cooked in tomato. Both were delicious. Service was very good. We went on a Tuesday night, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Stayed at University House while at a conference at ANU. I found the room to be really clean, spacious and well serviced. It pretty much has the all the features and facilities that a good motel or hotel ought to have, e.g. Tea-making facilities, air-cond, TV, mini bar, ironing board and iron. The grounds are lovely, with this beautiful pond with lotus flowers and Koi fish near the entrance. It's only set-back is that no room service or breakfast is provided.

I find the Paragon is a great place to stop on the way to Canberra. There's a good selection to choose from on the menu and we found the service to be excellent - friendly and attentive staff. The meals are also reasonably priced. It is also licenced, so you can get beer and wine if you desire.
